    Okay, so I was messing around on Emerald, and I put gameboid on x8 speed and frame skip on something ridiculous. I then decided to see how far I can level wurmple in half an hour. Well, he got to 27 and I decided to release him, because thats way too high (Im still in Odale town). Only I get this message when I try (see title). Whats happening?
     
    I'd assume it's because Wurmple is you're only Pokemon in your party and you are not allowed to have 0 Pokemon in your party for obvious reasons, the reason why it's saying Dustox is either because that's the nickname or it's assuming it's evolved given the circumstances.
     
    Probably just what Suicune said. I've never released Pokemon so idk. Why not just leave it in your PC and use it later though? Anyway, there's a Q&A thread in Advanced Generation, and if you feel like you want more info on this, you can ask in there.
