Early game, good "catcher.."

Apologize if this isn't the right place for this...

I'm trying to find a good pokemon to use as the "catcher" on my team, for catching pokemon in the field.

Right now, I'm using a combo of either Standler/Noctowl for putting 'em to sleep, and then a Beedrill for False Swipe.

Is there any Pokemon that can BOTH put the foe to sleep AND learn False Swipe? I'd like to get my "catching" combo down to a single Pokemon rather than taking up two slots to catching. Is there something almost as good as sleep for catching?

Use Smeargle gets both and mean look also for the dogs.

You can never fail with Gallade; I know he can learn False Swipe and I'm also sure it leans Hypnosis as a Kirlia/Ralts

I think gallades a bit frail & lacks recovery, which is needed 0n legands. Parasect has a recovery item, ability, & instant recover move. Add the games only 100% accuracy sleep-move its basicly a "uber" catcher XD
