I know that lots of hacks have Pokemon from newer generations, and I have gone under the assumption that not everyone manually added each of those Pokemon. In my mind there would be no reason to, why do all that work just for a small opportunity for someone to possibly use that Pokemon in their playthrough. So the easiest way to add Pokemon from new generations would be to use a patch someone else already made that has all those Pokemon, or something similar. Is there anyway to add Pokemon in bulk, or do these hackers actually add all those Pokemon manually?
I tried getting help in the HexManiacAdvance Discord server and I got as far as installing DPE and CFRU, but I don't know how those bases actually help me add new Pokemon and the responses from the server are quite slow. If there is no current method to add a bulk amount of Pokemon to my hack, then please tell me how I do it manually using DPE and CFRU.
