This is a step by step tutorial on how to do it.
What you need:
Xploder's NDS/Lite Cheat Saves Device
Legit Copy of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl
7Zip
PokéSav
HexWorkshop
Instruction's:
1. First Copy the Save file to your PC.
2. Open it in HexWorkshop.
3. Copy and Delete the first 256 bytes.
4. Save it.
5. Rename extension from .gds to .gz.
6. Extract the Save File from within.
7. Open Extracted file in PokéSav.
8. Do all your alterations.
9. Save the file
10. Compress the save file back to a .gz file.
11. Rename extension from .gz to .gds.
12. Now open the .gds file in HexWorkshop and put back the 256 bytes you copy from step 3.
13. Now save the file and transfer the save back to your Game using the Xploder.
14. Now you have successfully edited you Games save file.
PS. I never do this because I only like legit Pokémon.
Admins and Mods move if in wrong place.
