3rd Gen Eeve is not evolving

    I had breed an eeve with a ditto, hatched the egg, what I got was a level 5 eeve. I put eeve as the first pokemon, as soon as a battle start, quickly change to a more powerful pokemon, so far, eeve is level 16 and nothing (in case you are wondering, eeve is holding the water stone).
    Do I?m missing something?
     
    You have to USE the Water Stone on Eevee. Or do you want an Espeon or Umbreon? If so you have to trade to RSE.

    But if you want Vaporeon, USE the Water Stone.
     
    Yeah like ^ said..you don't give it to them you use it on them.
