    This is my first attempt at EV training and such, any thing is helpful. When I say tank I mean a poke that has ok attack but is mainly their to take a beating and be ok.

    Tank-
    Umbreon

    252 defense/252 sp. attack/6 speed

    Physical sweeper-
    Leafeon
    Gentle
    @?
    Dig
    Leaf Blade

    @?
    Thunderbolt
    Substitute
    Double Kick

    Scary Face
    will-o-wisp
    252 speed/252 defense/6 speed

    Ok, here we go:

    gentle is a bad nature in general. Try adamant or jolly for leafeon.

    Umbreon can't be a tank, short and sweet. wall.

    Flareon is a UU. If you're sure you can pull it off, go for it. You might want to try glaceon in it's place.

    Hope I helped...

    I didn't choose Glaceon because I have far to many sp. sweepers on the team and its really made for that. Whats UU?(remember, this is my first attemp).
    What nature would be best for leafeon out of the 2 you suggested?
    And what should hold items be?
    These Q's go to anyone, not just CloneD

    UU means underused pokemon. on that note, OU means ovrused (popular pokemon) U means uber(unnatualy strong, banned from standard play)

    thanks anemos, what pokemon are considered as ubers(besides legendaries)?

    * Deoxys (all forms)
    * Groudon
    * Kyogre
    * Ho-oh
    * Latios
    * Latias
    * Lugia
    * Mewtwo
    * Rayquaza
    and from d/p:
    Regigias
    Dialga
    Palkia
    Giratina
    Dakrai
    Arceus (unreleased)

    oh, and these are the legendarsys you CAN use. but they are frowned upon.
    Articuno
    Zapdos
    Moltres
    Raikou
    Entei
    Suicune
    Regirock
    Registeel
    Regice
    Celebi
    Jirachi
    Mew
    Manaphy
    Phione
    Shaymin
    Uxie
    Mesprit
    Azelf
    Cresslia

    thank joos, what do you think about my team?

    4 are weak to fighting, 3 weak to bug. replace saybleye with spiritomb, consider swapping sharpeedo for a milotic or a water type starter. thats my advice. And if you havent EV trained them, rebreed the team and start over. =(

    (it sounds like a lot, but ive seen much worse teams. youre's is balenced enough)

    Any other opinions? you didnt give me much information on the pokemon themselves.

    umm....the trainer card is kinda just a joke(dark is my fav type), I meant my eevee team in the first post

    Oooo. =D i'll review it in a bit. i have a trade to make, then i will edit this post with my thoughts on it.

    If you're making an Eeveelution team, may as well go for Baton Passing:

    Umbreon @ Leftovers
    Nature: Bold
    EV: 200 HP / 144 Def / 166 SpDef
    Trait: Synchronise
    Mean Look
    Baton Pass
    Wish
    Snatch/Toxic/Protect

    My fave version of this uses Snatch. Trap something and pass to a counter. Wish support too.

    Espeon @ Leftovers
    Nature: Timid
    EV: 6 HP / 252 Speed / 252 SpAtt
    Trait: Synchronise
    Calm Mind
    Baton Pass
    Psychic
    Substitute/Reflect/Shadow Ball/Grass Knot

    If you wish to use Reflect effectively, try more Def EV (taking from SpAtt, since you'll be raising that with Calm Mind anyway).

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Nature: Bold
    EV: 80 HP / 160 Def / 144 SpAtt / 126 SpDef
    Trait: Water Absorb
    Baton Pass
    Acid Armor
    Surf/Hydro Pump
    Ice Beam

    Defensive boost with AA.

    Jolteon @ Leftovers
    Nature: Timid
    EV: 6 HP / 252 Speed / 252 SpAtt
    Trait: Volt Absorb
    Baton Pass
    Agility
    Thunderbolt
    Substitute/Thunder Wave

    Obviously, don't use T-Wave if you've got Toxic on Umbreon. Speed passer.

    Leafeon @ Leftovers
    Nature: Adamant
    EV: 252 Att / 252 Speed / 6 HP
    Trait: Leaf Guard
    Baton Pass
    Swords Dance/Synthesis/X-Scissor
    Sunny Day
    Leaf Blade

    Extra lasting power with Synthesis, or pass Swords Dance for Flareon. Sunny
    Day for status absorb. X-Scissor for something different

    Flareon @ Leftovers
    Nature: Adamant
    EV: 252 Speed / 252 Attack / 6 HP
    Trait: Flash Fire
    Baton Pass
    Fire Fang/Overheat
    Sunny Day/Will-O-Wisp/Yawn
    Roar/Charm

    Bit different this one. For a sucky fire type, he supports Leafeon well. Sunny Day on here if you don't want to waste a move on Leafeon. Roar or Charm for pseudohaze. Fire Fang/Overheat could do with a Swords Dance passed to really be effective. 95 base SpDef is ok(for Flamethrower), but it seems a shame to waste 130 base Attack.

    You have an Eevee team without a single Baton Passer? that's like a necessity here. But to save you the trouble, I suggest not making an Eevee team. Why? Simply because Flareon is the only one who has a fire move, which is extremely important in D/P competitive play considering steel types are very common, and Flareon sucks so much.

    I like the challenge of making an eevee team ;) I would only want 1 baton passer, what one would be best?

    I'm afraid you dont understand, you shffle thru team memembers, stat boosting each. each eeveelution is only good at one stat.

    Depends what you want the rest of the team to do. Either Umbreon for it's Mean Look passing, or Jolteon for it's high speed for Agility/Substitute passes, make for decent ok single Baton Passers, but the choice needs to support the rest of the team. It's no good having Agility passes if the rest of your team are slow Pokemon like Snorlax, Slowbro and Rhyperior, for example.

    so th eevee team could be fun, but i would expect much from it. please prove me wrong, i love seeing new teams.

    thanks everyone, I will take everything you guys said into consideration and hopefully with all the EV training and breeding I do I will be able to make a nice team

    good luck. want any more comments? =/

    right now I am focusing on breeding a really nice eevee, I noticed that the most stat I can get for a lv.1 eevee is 6, is that true or am I just unlucky with IV's?(I just did the IV calc and non were above 25)

    all level 1s have stats of 5 or 6. you need to rare kandy them to see their IV's
