Eeveelutions: Question regarding the Synchronize ability ~

    The ability probably speaks for itself, but I'm asking in case it's a coincidence xD
    If an Umbreon or Espeon is bred with Ditto produces an egg, is the gender guaranteed to be the gender of the Eeveelution parent? If so, what happens if both a male and female Umbreon/Espeon produce an egg together?
    Out of 12 Eevee eggs, all 12 have been male; the Espeon I bred is also male.
     
    Might also have to do with the fact that there's only a 12.5% of getting a female Eevee. I don't think Synchronize has anything to do with the gender. Whatever the case, please ask in the breeding Q&A located in either the DPPt or HGSS sections.
