4th Gen Electivire Issues

    Okay, this thread may seem to be in the wrong place, but I feel that it needs to be in this section because this issue came up in this game.
    The current situation is that I just finished EV training and making my Electivire with the movepool that I wanted and some more, such as Ice Punch, which I was ready to give it. According to serebii.net, Electivire is able to learn Ice Punch from the HGSS Move Tutor and it is also able to learn it as an Egg Move, so I decided to just use a Heart Scale at Blackthorn. However, when I went to the Move Tutor, the only Punch-skill that could be taught to my Electivire was Fire Punch, what gives?
    Can anyone help out?
    I don't wanna keep training it, since I already finished EV on it, if I can't teach it Ice Punch.

    Oh right, as I said before, this only occurs in HGSS because according to serebii.net, it doesn't learn the other punches at the DP Move Tutor.

    By Move Tutor, it means as a move from an actual tutor. There are some weird guys in a house in the Battle Frontier that teach moves for BP. Those guys give Electivire Fire Punch.

    by move-tutor I am pretty sure it would mean the Battle Frontier tutors where you spend BP on getting a skill.
    Also, egg moves only come from being hatched, if your elekid didn't have ice punch when it hatched then it isn't going to get it (unless you go to the BF move tutor)

    check Serebii for all the move tutor info (I would post a link but I need to have done more than 15 posts to do so)
     
    Thank you and @Beyerful I already know how Egg Moves work, I just explained that part a little funky
