[Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl] Elekid Egg Moves?

I have a male Medicham (ice punch + Fire punch) with a female Elecktabuzz in the daycare right now and they're not passing down the punch moves to these Elekids.

Are egg moves still a thing? This is my first attempt at breeding on this game

What moves are the Elekid hatching with? It's possible that it's hatching with too many moves, at that point there will be no room for more. If it's hatching with a set of 4 moves already I'd try erasing some unnecessary moves from the parents and seeing if that helps with passing moves down any.
