Acuro, Umbreon. Orkairn, Crawdaunt. Zukra, Latias. And Lugia, - well- Lugia. Orkairn gazed around. Rarely has he been in a stranger situation, and in such peculiar company as well. His life never made much sense before, but now even less so. He noticed Acuro standing by the wall, undoubtedly submerged in thought and in memories. Orkairn felt sorry for him. To return to what was once your home, and to find it so desolate and empty.... They say that home is where the heart is... but- what happens when the heart leaves the home? There was no love here. No family to greet his friend, welcome him back. This hearth matched its location in every detail; Cold. Dead. And almost as if it were secretly mocking them. Here, for Acuro, was everything he had and yet- he couldn't get them. Like the ancient beasts that remain trapped in the ice, they are right there in front of you. But no matter what you do, you can never truly bring them back.
Above the water.
<Quick, attack the Hyperbeam to deflect it!> Chiira commanded, before she herself unleashed a fury of leaves toward the enemy.
Up high, the Flygon gathered particles of energy into its mouth, a sphere of light reverberating with intense radiation. Then, it let out a mighty roar, and a gigantic ray of raging power blasted out, aimed directly at the party. It bolted right through Chiiras makeshift barrier- only to be met by two spheres of dark oblivion, courtesy of John and Kasumi. A deafening blast ensued as all three energons disintergrated each other, leaving nothing behind but a few streams of smoke.
The Flygon roared again, furious at the wasted attack, it glared at the group menacingly. While it was incapable of doing anything unitl it recharged, the Chosen took advantage of this to launch an attack of their own. Rave quickly spewed a column of writhing flames. Kasumi and Mewtwo matched with a beam of distorted light and a crashing thunderbolt. As all three barrelled towards their foe, Chiira looked around. Why weren't Kyofin and Soorya helping? The Gardevoir was standing at the back, eyes shut peacefully as if nothing were happening. And the Legendary Kyogre was nowhere to be found.
The Flygon dodged the two Psychic Pok?mons attacks, and smiled mischieviously- right before getting scorched by the little Flareons not-so-little pillar of fire. It cried angrily and stared at Rave, marking him, before summoning up another Hyperbeam.
The party stared right back, and were charging up their own attacks. Chiira looked around angrily at the remaining so called ''friend'' to suddenly find her gone. She looked around wildly, and then saw her.
Fifty feet above the ground, pulsating with a deep magenta glow, was Soorya. Glaring at their enemy, she started motioning with her hands, describing patterns in the air. The rest of the team stopped and stared at her. What on earth was she doing? She's going to get killed!
The Flygon seemed to think the same. With an impatient Hyperbeam growing in its mouth, waiting for a victim, it stared at the Gardevoir right below and smiled. It reared its head, ready to unleash the deadly blast, and then- nothing.
It was surrounded by a glowing purple light, while the light in its mouth fizzled to nothing. It looked around, bewildered, and it was now Sooryas turn to smile. For, 60 feet below, Kyofin crashed up behind the dragon, and his massive blue body began to glow, a wide smirk all over his face.
