4th Gen Elite 4 Team

    So I just got my 8th badge and got through Victory Road, and now I need to build up my team for the Elite 4. I currently have the following, and I need help with move suggestions or levels I need to get to and where I can train my Pokemon.

    Luxray - Level 35
    Tackle
    Crunch
    Spark
    Thunder

    Weavile - Level 36
    Blizzard
    Toxic
    Icy Wind
    Shadow Claw

    Palkia - Level 48
    Surf
    Fire Blast
    Dragon Claw
    Spacial Rend

    Rapidash - Level 48
    Take Down
    Fire Blast
    Fire Spin
    Ember

    Staraptor - Level 44
    Close Combat
    Fly
    Defog
    Wing Attack

    Torterra - Level 48
    Razor Leaf
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    Strength

    I think your team is pretty good as an ingame team and won't have that much of a hard time taking out the Elite 4. Obviously, you're going to want to train up weavile and luxray. You might want to get Flamethrower for your Rapidash; I always found the inaccuracy of fire blast to be annoying. Again, Thunderbolt for Luxray may help you and Ice Beam for Weavile might help too. If you train up your party to around 48 (as some of your pokes already are) you should be good. For reference, Flamethrower can be found at the Fuego Ironworks, and the Veilstone Game Corner for 10,000 coins; Ice beam can be found at Route 216, and at the Veilstone Game Corner for 10,000 coins; and Thunderbolt can be found Valley Windworks, and at Veilstone Game Corner for 10,000 coins. Level 48 might actually be overtraining a bit, around level 45 should do. Good places to train are in Victory Road. You can also use the V.S. Seeker on various trainers. And remember, stock up on full heals, hyperpotions, and revives. (The item choice is my opinion over course, you might prefer full restores/whatever.)

    Really? You think level 45 is high enough? I might just get them all to level 50 for safe measure. Where are the Fuego Ironworks and the Valley Windworks at? This is my first playthrough of Pearl and I don't really pay attention to names very often. You've been a lot of help :D
     
    lvl 45 will be good enough i bet the elite4 with my team and my highest was lvl 42 lol it was garchomp trust me your will be fine just get lots of full restores 20-30 should do good and about 20 revives
