i saw elite four champion cynthia last week and was thinking who is the real elite four champion?

theres the kanto region that has lorelei , Bruno , Agatha and the elite four member who i thought to be the strongest pokemon trainer , lance
he has a dragonite whos one of the strongest pokemon as we could notice it in the episode where ash goes against the orange league champion.

however now in the diamond and pearl episodes there are more elite four members , such as lucian and the champion cynthia
so my question is: whos the strongest elite four member ( and probably ) best pokemon trainer in the world?
