3rd Gen Emerald Clear-Out Sales?

I think I asked this question in a reply to another post (Lucky Day), as that thread's poster implied there was, but I'm really dying to find out, so forgive my impatience! :P

Question: Are there Clear-Out Sales in Emerald? When I played my first file before, there seemed to be nothing about it even on TV. There were just the swarms, Mauville Game Corner news (which I don't even get), PokeBlock Master, and Energy Guru discounts. Please answer ASAP!

The Clear-Out Sales appear after you defeat the Elite 4, unlike the other events... the news will inform you as to when.
