Emerald: Do I HAVE to use my own pokemon to beat the Elite 4 if I want to acc

If I'm beating the Elite 4 for the first time, is it okay if I use TRADED Pokemon? Will I still be able to access the Battle Frontier after beating them? And if not, what DOES happen if I use the traded pokemon to beat them?

There's nothing at all different if you use traded Pokémon to battle the Elite 4.
