3rd Gen emerald shinies?

    how long did it take you to find a shiny because im gonna find one after i beat my game.
     
    Well, it was more than 1 year ago in my Sapphire version, I was just wasting all my pp moves with Latias when it was lvl 100 to kill all the pokemon in the grass in rt 114, then when i finished all of Latias' pp moves, I went to the pkmn centre and I healed it to go back to the grass in that same rt just for pp. So I went back 2 rt 114 and one of the first pokemon in the grass I saw was...Shiny Swablu...I was kinda looking for a shiny pokemon in rt 114 cause I didnt even have 1.
     
    i look around from time to time, nothin yet. ill find one, eventually lol
     
    you problably want to know if i ever had any shinies, so i'll tell you. in my whole life i saw 4 shinies, but caught 1. i saw 2 in crystal when i saw a crystal ratatta, but i had no pokeballs :\ , then in g/s/c, the red gyarados, i caught it. in fr, i remember catching a gold spearow. also in fr, in that trainer tower, this trainer had a lime green espeon, i think. but i haven't found a single shinie in r/s/e yet, but im gonna look!
    edit: actually, i caught two shinies (counting the red gyarados)
     
    I have had about over 60 shinies in my games
     
    Hmm... took me over an year ta find one, but I found it completly by chance. One thing though -- if ya want a specific shiny, tha starters an' legendaries(not countin' Lati@s) are the easiest ta catch.
    Remember -- the odds o' findin' one are 1 in 8192.
     
    deoxys2000:I saw that same Espeon at Trainer Tower too(FR/LG).I found 2 and caught none.That Espeon I couldn't catch.And I caught a shiny tentacool(on Ruby),dropped my game,and start from where I last saved(didn't save my game after caught it).
     
    omg i hate that green espeon, its so degrading lol, i want one
