3rd Gen Emerald trading help

My friend has pokemon emerald and he wants to trade from his emerald game to his fire red game. I dont have either game so I cant help him out, He wants to know how to trade from emerald to fire red because he has had problems doing so.....

For Emerald: He must have beaten E4 and have the National Dex. Thinks that it for this one.

For FireRed and LeafGreen: He must have beaten E4 and have the National Dex AND he must complete the quest from One Island at the Pokemon Network Center

Make sure you have beat elite 4, but if you are trading certain pokemon like a spearow from firered to ur emerald. You need the national dex first.

Remember: to trade from emerald to firered you need the wireless cable plug, not a cable link. ;)

The link cable works just fine from Emerald to FireRed. The wireless connector is just more convenient.

whys that its fine with a link cable? hi subzero m8 howz it going?
and yh u have to do most of the islands dont you by retrieving the ruby and sapphire in the caves and giving them to the guy in the pokecenter it begins with M i think but thats it yh...
