Have you ever seen a pokemon episode that has made you feel particuarly emotional, yeah we know it's an anime, but it can still happen.
Personally, i got quite like that on the episoide os the first series where ash got seperated frm brock and misty in a snow storm and was in that cave, and the pokemon all got out there balls to keep him warm, and a tear fell from his eye, i was all ''awwwwww'' quite upsetting lol.

anyone else had an epi like that?

I know a thousand of people are gonna say Gotta Catch Ya Later. But A Poached Ego was much sadder than that. Everytime I watch that episode now, my heart "breaks".

    ...

The one where butterfree left ;; And also, it just killed me to see Togepi.

    Togepi definitely broke my heart.

    lawl...I'm gonna cry now.

The Butterfree leaving episode got to me most... As well as the last episode in Kanto (72). I would say Gotta Catch You Later, but it didn't make as sad as these two for reason (though I really didn't want to see Misty go).

Yep. I one of those who will say Gotta Catch Ya Later Episode made me cry. I hated to see those three leave after so long of being together.

Then there was Pikachu's Goodbye. It made me cry too. I never saw anything so sad when I was so young.

*agrees with Reyna* Yep, Pikachu's Goodbye was it for me. I knew that Ash and Pikachu weren't gonna separate, but it was still sad to see a moment like that between the two. I wish the anime did more of those kinds of moments for Ash and Pikachu. It's a lot more interesting than the Pikachu is stolen for a short time, and then Ash and him are reunited story.

Also, Gotta Catch Ya' Later was another. For reasons that are obvious, and it was pretty darn emotional.

Oh, and the part with all of the pokemon fighting their clones and then all crying for Ash in the first movie. That always gets me for some reason. I feel so silly for being choked up about it, but I can't help it. =/

**** i forgot that one. Bye Bye Butterfree, that was so sad, and the movie trailer of caterpie to Butterfree, i have always wished they would do an epi where Butterfree and ash see eachother again, if only for one epi.

another one i was sad about, and angry too truth be told, was where Pidgeot left, i was so upset, i loved pidgeot, and ash said he would be back to get him, but he never saw him again.....

    Me too, even though I probably wouldn't think it. x_x;
AND the move trailer like BB said was so.. depressing.
I even told my Dad about it, by going on MS Word, and putting in big letters, "I am crying because of Bye bye Butterfree" XD

I say Poached Ego because they kinda put a sad music and having Arbok and Weezing leave when they've been on for a long time.

Bye Bye Butterfree, Pikachu's Goodbye, and the part in the first movie when Ash turned to stone. I know thats not an episode, but thats emotional for me too. I also got emotional when Togepi evolved and flew away forever.

    Poached Ego.

Mostly because I'm a Rockemaniac (and why I chose Dark Weezing as my non de plume) although 4Kids and their voice acting...rather wrecked the episode for me. Granted, it's rare that they have to do emoting episodes but still, I wish they skipped it until they got the voice acting right.

    Yeah. Headdesk.

Gotta Catch Ya Later was nice but...I dunno, didn't have the outright tone of the aforementioned.

Pikachu's Goodbye, would have been nice but the status quo wrecked the premise for me. Nah.

Oh, you know I would have put "A Poached Ego" on my post, but I'd have to say the Japanese version. The dubbed one... has misplaced movie music from 4Kids... *headache* and as you mentioned Dark Weezing, not exactly "stellar" voice acting. 9_9

It was a great epsiode though, and this also made me think of that one episode, "Meowth Rules". It's the one with the island of people who worship Meowth thinking he was the Great Meowth of Bounty. I love that episode! I was so choked up when Jessie and James were going to put Meowth's happiness first. Too cute. And Meowth with his big, teary eyes when he figures out that they were the ones who threw the coins. Awww.

I forgot about Meowth Rules. Yeah, all this post fifth season and you forget the essentials, yeah, I did enjoy that.

On that note, I enjoyed the ending of Holy Matrimony or just the episode on the whole as to see James' turmoil and where he's coming from.

In terms of movies, I guess I enjoyed the second movie in that emotional respect given how Team Rocket were the real saviors of the world than the brat as they willingly jumped off Lugia and kinda commit suicide to save the world. Rather emotional with the impact, I thought.

At least with 4Kids, they kept Poached Ego more intact than I thought. I thought Rico's gun might go the way of guns in Yu-Gi-Oh. Heh. And no, the music didn't bother me, I'm too used to it and the voice acting distracted me above all else.

Like the episode with Yugi's grandpa getting shot in the back... by a slingshot?!! XD Or Kaiba jumping out of his window because two men are pointing their fingers at him?!! Oh the humanity....

Yes, perhaps it's the way in which the gun is used that they decide to keep it in? I wouldn't know.

Oh, and I love Holy Matrimony! That was the first episode I ever saw, and it was quite an emotional one (both laughter-wise and drama-wise). James and Growlie are too cute together!

Nah, just muted the cocking sound of the gun. At least they didn't do Outlaw Star and repaint the gun.

Emotionals, I did like the emotions in Charizard's Burning Ambitions. Hard to see Ash willingly let go one of his best for the better and overcome the great shortcomings.

Although Liza is still an obnoxious little...

in every episode when they do a flashback of the adventures they have had together it just brings a tear to my eye but still the first movie also in the end when everyone is crying ya that got me when i was little

Okay, first off, Jirachi, your signature makes me never want to see a yellow smiley again... >.<

Secondly, I just thought of another Meowth-centered episode, "Go West Young Meowth", the one that tells of how Meowth learned to talk and stuff. Yes, that one always gets me. It's not like I want to cry or anything, I just feel sad for the little guy. He does all that hard work and that prissy Meowth chick doesn't want anything to do with him.
