Emulated Rebornian/Rejuvenian Field Effects & Revamped Battle Tower (v4.0.0) [v21.1] (Updated 5/25/2025)

Amazing plugin(?) addon? template? So far the most polished when it comes to Field Effects in 21.1
It's nice how it integrates with other plugins and modern mechanics, most importantly plugins relating to DBK.
I just had a couple questions regarding the project itself and future plans:
  1. Could there be an option to re-enable the damage/poison/nerf effects removed in 3.0.0b, I'm sure some gamedevs would like to have them for certain occasions.
  2. Any plans to support DBK's Dynamax Add-On (or at least make it so that Dynamax doesn't work on the Nostalgia Field like other Battle Gimmicks)
  3. Would it be possible to have "Field Notes" or more detailed descriptions in the Enhanced Battle UI menu?
  4. Do you think the fields could have issues with the "Innate Abilities" plugin? I've tested a few interactions and I haven't found any problems with the Flower Garden Field at least.
  5. Any plans for major updates? I'm particularly wondering if you'll update the fields to work alongside the DBK's Raid Plugin when it releases.
Glad you enjoy the project. No this is an entirely different project. While this doesn't have story and the like, you can however build a game off of this as the Battle Tower is the only thing that is massively updated and plus the game itself with the Field Effects and all can be used to make an entirely new game altogether. And this project undergoing a MASSIVE update. A lot has been done and when it's finally ready, there will be a massive changelog to what was changed/added/removed but I will respond to the 5 things you said.

1. Field damage will be removed entirely in 4.0.0. No poison, no HP loss. Speed drops will remain intact since some Pokémon actually benefit from being more slow than usual.
2. Dynamax will not be in this game but doesn't mean it's incompatible with this project. I went against Dynamax cuz it's a temporary thing and doesn't remain through the whole battle like Terastal and Mega Evolution.
3. A new room in the Battle Tower will have NPC that provide tips and advices on how to best utilize a field in the Special Field Challenges. However I did touch the Move UI part of the Enhanced Battle UI so it will show the move's final power after STAB/Tera/Field Boost etc. It also takes account to move type changes for some fields such as Strength showing up as a Fighting-type move on Beach Field. Nature Power also will tell you what move it'll call.
4. I have no idea because I don't use the Innate Abilities plugin. If the plugin works just fine on Flower Garden then it might work for other fields. Keep testing till the next update.
5. As I have stated above, 4.0.0 is undergoing WIP which will have the City and Back-Alley Field challenges with Pokémon that take advantage of the fields. Overall, the game will feel completely different because many fields will be updated for more moves/abilities being supported/hindered by them and the biggest one being the works: AI. I have been showing progress on PokeCommunity's server in the fangame-dev channel so if you have Discord and part of PokeCommunity's Discord, drop right over. I'm more or less active there. I have no plans to include the Raid plugin so I will not be updating for that.

  • Fixed error with the AI regarding the -ate abilities.
  • Fixed error regarding Water Veil and Synchronize.
  • Fixed an issue regarding Chess Piece assignments in Double/Triple Battles on the Chess Board Field. The fix does NOT apply to battles initiated on the Chess Board Field via Debug.
  • Well-Baked Body and Thermal Exchange now activate on the Volcanic Top Field along with the other 3 fields they are activated on at the end of each turn.
  • Solid Rock protects the bearer from critical hits on the Rocky Field.
