4th Gen Encounter rate for Munchlax

Does anyone have any information on the encounter rate of Munchlax appearing on honey trees? Months of slathering honey trees have turned up nothing, despite round-the-clock slathering of multiple trees. Any input? Something special I'm missing? Or just bad luck?
