3rd Gen EON Ticket question

    I have asked this question before, and all I got was information that was useless or wasn't relevant. So, I'll try again.

    In the UK, the EON ticket is not available by e-reader, since the e-reader does not exist in the UK. Instead, we got the ticket by a 1-day event. My friend went to that event and has an EON ticket. Apparently, it is possible to transfer the EON ticket onto my cart, making a new one for me. But we can't figure out how to do this. After trying everything from the Mystery Event to swapping records, still no method of transferring the EON ticket from my game to his has been found.

    Does anyone actually know how to transfer the EON ticket across?
     
    As far as i know you cant transfer, give, or duplicate the eon ticket. A boy tell me that a friend of him transfer the eon ticket to his cartidage.( i think he used gameshark or something like that).
     
    No, it is actually possible, this was even mentioned in the leaflet at the one day event (which we've usefully lost). It is possible to transfer the original EON ticket onto 100 other carts, and you still keep the original.
     
    Yes it is possible. You have to mix your records and it will say you have received the Eon Ticket from your friend.
     
    Ok, we'll try that. But we have recently mixed records already and I got no message about it. Mind you, for some reason his link cable doesn't allow us to activate the Mystery Event, so I think the cable might be broken in some way. We can trade and battle each other fine. I'll just pick up a new link cable and try that.
     
    You don't activate the Mystery Event like that! In the Petalburg P.C., go to the guy near the PC that asks for your profile. Type a new profile while holding L+R, and type "MYSTERY EVENT IS EXCITING". Then, he'll say "You know the secret saying. You are now a member of the Mystery Event Club", or something similar. When you turn on your game after saving(of course), under OPTIONS, you'll see MYSTERY EVENT. Hope that helped! :)
     
    This has nothing to do with the Mystery Event. I already have it activated :-p

    This is to do with the EON ticket. You know, reading the topic of the thread generally helps...
     
    Sorry about that. But from what I've read, the Eon Ticket can be transferred from one cart to another through record-mixing. Since you did that, you need to go to the Petalburg Gym and talk to Norman to get it. This should work.
     
    Like I said, it didn't work when I tried that. But I think the problem may lie in my friend's link cable. I'm getting a new one tomorrow and try that, and if it doesn't work, the best I can do is just borrow his Latios for my Pokedex... but I would like to have a L50 Latios holding Soul Dew...
     
    Toothache I had the same problem. Just make sure you buy the Nintendo brand cable.
