(Seems like there should've been a topic on this before--I did a search and didn't find it.) Back in my old forum, there was a forum called "War Stories" to share our battle logs or narrate our own wins/losses, accompanied by good-natured discussion/trash-talk.

So I ask: do you remember any particular battles that really struck a chord? Lots of twists and turns, masterful strategies, amazing comebacks, resounding defeats! Raged your opponent's entire team to death? Had a two-hour face-off, with victory by Struggle?!

    Well? :rambo:

Do you mean on NetBattle, or actual games with people you know? If its the first one, I'll move it to Strategies and Movesets, but if it's the latter, I'll keep it here. ^_^

Both, I'd say. NetBattle simulated regular battle, right? I've never used it.

Ah, I see why this topic might belong in that forum. I put it here because I figured this would be more of a recounting than a discussion of the aspects of the battle, so I didn't think it'd be much for strategy, except referenced in passing.

Once I had a Challenge Cup battle on NetBattle, where I had a Magikarp and my friend had Mewtwo. And believe it or not, my Magikarp actually won. XD

I also had a great final battle versus my rival on FireRed. He sent out Blastoise. I used my Scyther to wear it down a little bit and then after a Hydro Pump fainted my Scyther, I sent out my Butterfree and used a Sleep Powder. Then a Future Sight from his Alakazam earlier struck, and Butterfree fainted. Then I had only my starter, Charizard, left, attacked like crazy and when it woke up (I believe it was a Hydro Pump that missed), I managed to beat it in one final Blast Burn.

= My three favorite Pok?mon all helped beating my rival's Blastoise, and I won with Charizard versus Blastoise by using Blast Burn as a finishing attack.
