Epic fail breeding

    Ok so I decided to make a sleep inducing Crobat for my team (meaning I gotta have a hoothoot with hypnosis to breed with) I kept breeding till I finally got a Timid nature zubat, EV trained it, Evolved it to crobat... And THEN I realized that crobat diden't know hypnosis.... I checked if I accidently made it forget the move but it never learned it. THEN I went to check the hoothoot I had and it turns out that those daycare guys made it forget Hypnosis >_<

    Whats even worse is that I just realized this now :/ I feel really stupid >.< I wasted all that time EV training a crobat that dosen't even know the move I want :/ And as far as I know there aren't any alternative sleep inducing moves for crobat are there? Well I just had to get my anger out there with this post so yuh :/

    Anyone else have any epic fail situations while breeding as bad as I did? (doubt it :/)

    the same for me, most of the part I don't breed for certain moves, I breed for fun and for trades. But when I do, it I always sucessed

    Eh. I guess I was just to focused on evolving hiim that I diden't even notice he was missing the move :/
     
    It could have been worse, you could've accidently used a male Golbat And a female Hoothoot. I did something similar when chain breeding Sludge Bomb onto a baby Tentacool in Crystal. >_>
     
    As it turns out, the old couple that runs the daycare are evil.
    I saw a thread the other day by some guy who's Smeargle had his Focus Sash stolen by the day-care lady. These people must be stopped!

    That happened to me with Bagon and Gyarados(I was trying to get Dragon Dance and Hydro Pump), and after I realized what I'd done wrong I was too lazy to catch another Bagon and raise it to a Shelgon. Then a friend told me that Bagon could breed.

    You can't relearn what can't be recollected by the Pokemon, meaning Hypnosis isn't on Crobat's level-up menu.

    Anyway, I tried to breed Nidoqueen with Ditto. Fail.
     
    Well I managed to get another crobat (Timid with hypnosis this time) So everythings fine now.

    I still blame the daycare couple >:3 One day they will be delt with and we shall save all pokemon who fell to the hands... or w/e of ditto >=O (Except I ditto breed also :/)
     
    I leveled up a Corsola so I could breed Mudkip with the Move Mirror Coat but then, I realized the Corsola was female -_-'''
    (Level 25 - 45) Mirror Coat at 48

    That made me angry
     
    Glad to see you got your Hypnosis issue sorted out, though Confuse Ray would've been okay to put on him, seeing as you already EV'd him and everything...

    So is Ditto Vs. Ditto. Another fail is when I named a Crobat (level 45 or so) after my friend and bred it with a level 11 Zubat and when the Egg hatched, I told him he was the father. I was then informed it was rape because of the level difference. Fail. 5th grade fail.

    That happened to me when I tried to get a Dunsparce with Bite and Headbutt by breeding it with a Granbull. I got a baby Snubbull. I thought WTF!?¡¿ They got another egg, and another Snubbull hatched. Then I realised Dunsparce was the father...

    I was trying to breed some Eevees and I got an Egg from the daycare IDIOT man. I wasted time cycling around, crashing into people, etc. Eventually, it started hatching... into a ZIGZAGOON. Yes, my sadistic little sister had screwed around with my game, and unintentionally placed a female Zigzagoon in place of my female Umbreon. Epic sister fail.
     
    That Old Lady is evil! She made one of my Pokémon forget Facade and replace it with...Lock-on.
     
    I had an epic breeding fail when I was breeding Eevees. I had set up a couple of special eevee "breeders" that each knew the same, specific moveset so the baby would have it. And I put them in the daycare, and I got about five babies with that moveset, and had the epic fail when I realized that after that I was getting "bad eevees" (Eevees without the moveset I was seeking) because I had forgotten to check on my breeders and manually level them at the correct levels to avoid their movesets wiped. I had to have my boyfriend at the time (X-BF now) fix it using his AR. XD
     
    i bred a sneasle with X-Scissor and Ice Punch

    goddamn daycare people made it forget the moves for screech and some other horrible move
