The first two seasons have finally been re-released on DVD, in AU, so I'll import them. But Season One and Season Two both say that there is 42 episodes on 6 discs. But that s not enough for Indigo League and too much for Orange Islands. Heres the links:
    Indigo League:

    Orange Islands:

So is this true or an error and both box sets have the full number of episodes?
    Thanks :)

Don't you mean 52. That's what I read. Not sure where you got 42 from because I can't find that number on the site.

I don't know how these are going to be organised but if they go like the super wallets this is how they'll go. They'll have 52 episodes of kanto in the season 1 set. The season 2 set will most likely continue on from the season 1 set with the rest of kanto and the league then go onto the orange islands. Season 2 will stop on Charizard chills and you'll have to wait till season 3 before you see the rest of orange islands and the beginning of Johto.

    Yeah very confusing.

I'm assuming that's how they're doing it again. It'd also explain why brock's on the cover of season 2.lol

Though I'm not sure since they're not out yet. Though there is a Australian thread on serebii forums keeping tabs on it and I know a few Aussies missed out on the wallet so you might be able to find out a bit more there when they're out.

They're on preorder at the moment on the site. Meaning they're not actually out yet but are very close. They're out march 10th. I am keeping tabs of them myself.

Yeah I meant 52! Was typing in the dark!! Yeah I'm tempted to preorder but they dont have season 3 for pre-order so I might wait. But I'll probably buy then if the first two dont have have the first two full seasons I'll just sell them.

Well I'm just looking at PCI's site (pokemon.com). Doing a bit of reseach.

Well season 1 starts from Pokemon I choose you and ends with Bulbasaurs Mystery garden.

Season 2 starts with princess vs princess and ends with Charizard chills.

So that's how you'll know if you got the 2 full seasons.

If you want the entire of orange islands yes you have the right idea of waiting. Even PCI consider orange islands second half part of season 3 and not season 2.=/

I think they'll re-release Johto DVD's eventually and if worse comes to worse you might find one of the wallets floating around somewhere. Season 3 wallets for some reason seem to float around the place from time to time for some reason. I think your best bets for the wallets are ebay if you go down that path.

But as the wallets are now discontinued they are really expensive!
And counting the numbe rof episodes between the first two series its 116 - theres only 14 missing from the box sets which is quite annoying!!

    Yeah it's annoying.

Though it is a marekting strategy some companies here use for DVD sales and it works.

People end up buying season 3 just to finish off orange islands thus getting hooked to johto at the same time.
Not something I support since it would be nice to get a set with the whole region instead of leaking it into the next season but hey I live in Australia I have no choice in the matter how these get released. I just keep buying until I got all the episode personally.

I find it a real pity these re-release sets don't have the Chronicles in them.=/

That was quite nice back in the days.

I might aswell just import from the US, altough Indigo League is split up into 3 and it works out more expensive than AU.... Why don't they just re-release all series on PAL format?
