Eraser or Whiteout?

The only time I used an eraser is when I do math problems. Can't do that with pen because then I scratch off the mistakes. It doesn't look good. So I used a pencil for that. Sometimes I do use the erasable pens. They work, well sometimes. They are not too reliable. And I use the tape white out. If I do it carefully and I can get a smooth stoke. And then I can write whatever I need to without ripping the paper with a pen. And that white out doesn't smell. I don't like the liquid kind. It is too messy when it starts to dry up and the smell is awful.
