I'm using the latest release of Pokemon Essentials.

I've been getting an error after installing a "starter kit" with the kanto and johto region maps.

When I click play test, it asks if I want to add the trainer Bug_Catcher. Whether I say yes or no, the game crashes and I receive this message:

    ---------------------------
    Exception: NoMethodError

Message: undefined method `map_interpreter' for Game_System:Class

You should define all the missing trainers manually in trainertypes.txt.

I can't replicate this problem in my latest copy of Essentials - it's the version I've been improving for the next release, but I'm sure I've not changed anything that would affect compiling trainers in this way so that's irrelevant. When I get the same message, it lets me define the trainer just fine.

I don't think it's an issue with essentials itself, but rather the kit that I installed after the fact with the Kanto and Johto maps.

Ok, I found out what the problem was.

There was a trainer battle with a "BUG_CATCHER" but it was supposed to be "BUGCATCHER". Changed that and now it works.

Hopefully as I get the hang of this game I won't have to post questions as often, thanks for the help.
