I've decided I want an Espeon as a special sweeper in my team but because I'm such a battling noob I need a lot of help.

Well the thing is, I don't really know what to teach it...at all. Any ideas anyone? :)

EDIT: It will have a timid nature.

    yeah

i have an espion as well, nicole.. but i dont know what to do with it.. so could someone help me and Nicole?

    Espeon @ Leftovers
    Ability: Synchronize
    EVs: 132 HP / 136 Def / 240 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Calm Mind
    - Psychic
    - Grass Knot / Hidden Power (Fighting)
    - Morning Sun / Wish / Shadow Ball
I don't think it has the lasting power to pull a Wish, but you can try it just in case Tyranitar / Hippowdon wants to abuse Sand Stream.

    I'll suggest

    : Reflect / Substitute
: Calm Mind / Fake Tears
: Grass Knot / Hidden Power Fighting
    : Psychic
    item: Leftovers
    nature: Timid
    evs: 6HP / 252SPATK / 252 SPD

If you can get HP fighting it will hurt T-Tar, I suppose Grass Knot does that too, also HP fighting will take care of steel types and weavile will be OHKO by HP fighting. If you can't get HP fighting then just stick with Grass knot, it will hurt other Rock/Ground/water types alot.

Light dark type pokemon will walk all over you, you should add shadow ball somewhere if you wish to.

I didn't put in wish because Espeon is not the best poekmon to use it on.

Nobody's going to keep Espeon in against Weavile cos his speed.
And Fake Tears? Bad idea, all they'll do is switch.

Well duh, they were second options.

Oh and unless you are already sub, of course you are going to keep Espeon against weavile and supposing you are carrying HP fighting.

Well if its a bad idea, it shouldn't be an option. If you use Sub, it needs more HP.

Hmm interesting if you want to use Espeon as a Sub passer then this is definately the set for you..

    Espeon @Leftovers
    EVs: 196 HP / 122 SDef / 192 Spd
    Timid Nature
    -Substitute
    -Baton Pass

    -Psychic

This is kinda old school but movesets are pretty self explanatory

    OR
