    i have a espeon with a modest nature and right now its sp.atk is at 355 and its spd is at 287 and its only lvl 90!!! its move set and info are as follows:

    Espeon= Modest nature
    hp=244
    atk=134
    def=140
    sp.atk=355
    sp.def=203
    spd=287

    Move set
    calm mind
    psychic
    grass knot
    hidden power

    What should i do to make it better and what item should i equip it with??

    1. What type is Hidden Power

    2. What did you ev train it in. Excluding special attack.

    3. Leftovers or Life Orb helps.

    I would teach shadow ball, it 1.has a good attack power 2.it will really use your espeons sp.attack powers, I would loose grass knot. Grass knot is only really good with heavy pokemon and Espeon only weights 58 pounds.

    Grass Knot base damage is depending on how heavy the foe is. Not how heavy the user is. Grass Knot is useful on Espson.

    Grass Knot is good AGAINST heavy Pokemon, not if the user is heavy. I'd go...

    Calm Mind
    Reflect
    Shadow Ball
    Psychic

    Shadow ball beats ghost types, a big weakness of espeon's, so I'd stick w/ that. What type is HP?

    i EV trained it along with spd and hidden power is dark which i really wanted to be ice =(!!!

    dispiacere- grass knot is dependent upon the weight of the opponent not the user...i taught it to him just in case i ever get caught with a pokemon like swampert or rhyperior or something to that effect!!!

    Replace Hidden Power with Shadow Ball then.

    1. Shadow Ball has a higher base damage.

    2. Special Defense decrease.

    Sorry, my bad, misread the serebii page.

    ok!!! but now i need a shadow ball tm!!! i hope i have a spare!!! does anybody here have 1?? i may also need to give it an item for boosting speed since it isnt fast enough to outrun pokemon like alakazam or gengar =[

    It's pretty dang close though. Try BPing it speed (and defense wouldn't hurt either).

    sorry to sound new to it but what does BP mean??

    Baton Pass. It is a move that..um...well, let's say I have a scyther that knows wing attack, swords dance, agility, and Baton pass. If it used swords dance and agility both once and used baton pass, BP would switch you out and you send a new pokemon in. You say "why not just switch?" It's because the pokemon who comes in would keep the benefits of swords dance and agility. You can also BP mean look.

    Espeon @ Leftovers/Enigma Berry
    Modest/Calm Nature
    212 HP/212 SPD/84 SP ATK
    -Psychic
    -Hidden Power Fighting/Hidden Power Electric/Shadow Ball
    -Calm Mind

    they really need to give all of the eevee evolutions better movepools.

    Actually I would go far as to say they punished Flareon in the 4th generation. Main because of Shadow Ball and of course a loss of some other moves as well (2nd generation would probably been best for Flareon)

    The Eevee-Evolutions strength is thier good stats. Too bad it doesn't really do enough for them.
