    Hello everyone!

I'm quite new to all of this, so please bear with me. I've been wanting to make a fan game for a while, and finally got RPG Maker on sale. I've started following along with Thundaga on youtube for his how to design a pokemon series on youtube, but it's based in v16.

I'm trying to add some encounters to the tall grass in two test maps I've made, but am having issues. I'm doing everything right I believe (after reading the website and looking at other examples on the encounters.txt page) but I'm having no luck...

here is a copy of what I've written for my town:
    #-------------------------------
    [022,1] # Test Map 1
    Land,50
    40,PIDGEY,11,14
    40,RATTATA,11,14
    9,PIDGEY,11,13
    9,RATTATA,11,13
    1,PIDGEY,14
    1,RATTATA,14
    LandNight,50
    39,RATTATA,10,14
    30,HOOTHOOT,10,13
    20,SPINARAK,8,12
    9,HOOTHOOT,10,14
    1,HOOTHOOT,14
    1,RATTATA,15
    #-------------------------------

Am I missing something? I'd love the help, thank you!

Double check that your map ID is correct.
Select the map in question and check the bottom-right corner for the map ID.
It'll be a three padded number just before the map's name.
So, something like this: 092: Route 1; the map ID here is 092.

[022,1] # Test Map 1 <--- The bold part needs to be updated in encounters.txt to your map ID.
