Lately I've been trying to find some kind of guide to assist me in knowing what EV's certain pokemon give for the classic games (Red, Blue, Gold, etc.). However, every EV guide caters to the newest pokemon games. If anyone has a link to a R/B/Y or G/S/C EV guide, or would even go as far as to make an elaborate post of one for the sake of helping another human being. I would be very thankful. Thanks in advance to those interested in helping me.

EVs in these games are called "Stat Experience". You can have up to 65535 EVs in each stat, but you can max out EVs in all stats, so it's not that important of a factor. The amount of EVs you gain in this game are determined by the base stats Pokemon you KO. For example:
    Rattata gives:
    30 HP
    56 Attack
    35 Defense
    25 Special [Attack]
    [35 Special Defense]
    72 Speed

    A Mew would give:
    100 HP
    100 Attack
    100 Defense
    100 Special [Attack]
    [100 Special Defense]
    100 Speed

    Make sense?

Let's see if I understand, simply put no matter what pokemon I kill I'll get experience for each stat? If that's the case then thanks for the help. It's very appreciated.

I wonder though, and I'm probably nitpicking when I say this but, when you say that a pokemon has 65535 EV's in each stat. Does that apply to the pokemon for the entirety of its existence, or for each level? If my question isn't clear tell me, because I get the feeling I may have phrased it poorly.

Could've been asked in the simple Q&A. Though it seems like a complex question, that's the go-to thread for any question, mkaysies?
