EV Traing Problems...Please Help!!

OK, Heres what i did and am doing:

I got a pkmn at level 3. Rare candied it to lvl 100.
Then I repeat these steps.
1. Kill all the spinda i can before i use all my pp.
2. Go the the pkmn center and restore my pp.
3. Save the game.
4. I reapeat steps 1-3.

My pkmn has the pokerus and the macho brace. I have been doing this for over 3 hours. Am i doing this right? am i making some mistake that resets my EV's? Please Help me.

well you probably got 255 sp.atk EV already. You still have 255 EVs to choose from but only for another stats... that's probably the thing you're doing wrong.

After you did more EV training with another stats, go check if you can get the effort ribbon. That ribbon represents if you got all EVs possible.

Oh...so i wont get the effort ribbon until i get all 510 ev's? is there any mistake i can make that will reset the EV count, like turning off the game, or is it always there?

nope... EVs are now stuck there, and will always be there.

dude, why don't you just raise your pokemon through batteling
if u want ev's faster give it the macho brace
u'r pokemon will be soo much better that way

Uh, EV training IS battling, my dear... Except it's strategic battling, where you only battle the pokemon who give the EVs you want (eg: You're not gonna be battling Zubat's family with Rhydon because uh... there's no point in having a 252 speed EV rhydon)

A fast Rhydon is one of the scariest things I've faced in NetBattle. I didn't have enough chance to change to my hazer when Ninjast BPed some speed to an already fast Rhydon (he'd also stashed a Salac on the bloody thing!).

Rhydon's max speed is 179 (197 after speed raising personality), and 116 before speed EVs normally. After 1 speed raise from Jask, it should have 269 speed normally, 296 with speed boost personality. After salac berry, THEN, it can compete with half the things, at 358 speed, which is still lower than the fast sweepers...

And there's always skarm if someone uses a speed boost personality on it O_o

(The standard is 4 sweeping moves, right? Or was it Swords dance with 3 sweep moves. Either way...)
