I need help. The highest possible amount of HP that exists on Lugia at level 100 is 415. My Lugia was poorly EV trained in my opinion and facts and knowledge and I just need to remember this for next game upon snagging Lugia. I thought I should take him to Mt. Battle as soon as he got to level 100 and I had plenty of potions and revives, all wasted on those Cipher Peons and Admins because earlier I tried getting Teddiursa to evolve while I was on Citadark Isle and I couldn't because they kept attacking him because he was weak and knocking him out. Now he's an Ursaring and at level 60 and I've been trying to use him for the Orre Colosseum but I don't think he knows very good attacks. It's just Faint Attack, Rest, Snore, and something else. This was before I came up with the Protect idea but I haven't looked at Ursaring in a while. It was just the first Pokemon Professor Krane told me to catch before he was kidnapped by those crazy people in the game.
My Lugia mostly gets defeated every time on the 81st battle of Mt. Battle if Wobbuffet and a Poison Pokemon are out at the same time. Since I just exploit the Pokemon's weaknesses and weak sides as soon as it's out, Lugia will get defeated by Wobbuffet unless it gets a critical hit which increases the battle damage to X2 or unless Lugia is holding Soft Sand and or gets a critical hit. My Lugia has 370 HP and Wobbuffet's Counter would bring it to 0. Wobbuffet is at level 63 and based on how many times it beat it since I lost count, if the opponet's Pokemon can gain EXP Points and IV's, it would be at about level 70 right now and if it did this 17 times, it should have 51 Special Defense EV's because that's what Lugia gives up until level 100 or the 255 maximum EV's. I heard there was a limit but I just wasn't sure. My Lugia's Speed is 255. Is 255 the highest any stat could go or is there a 256? Could there be a Pokemon that's faster than my Lugia without the Quick Claw? So many mysteries but my Lugia is the fastest Pokemon in the Orre region right now.
At 370 HP, as long as Lugia is doing 185 damage to Wobbuffet which is half of 370, Counter automatically faints it. I looked on serebii.net for Wooper and Quagsire and by coincidence, I ran into this page because I was looking where to find a Wooper. The Wooper I found was a male and it had Water Absorb and despite what that says you can even fight wild Sandshrew at level 23 and sometimes I would find a Wooper at level 20 which should just be ready enough to evolve into Quagsire if you get it to grow to level 21. Because I believed I already caught the Pokemon because you have to catch 3 Pokemon and trade them to Duking, Luking was one of them, I had already traded it for something else. Had I caught the Pokemon twice, I would've prevented this from happening and I don't know if my first one had Damp or Water Absorb or whether it was male or female. Wooper and Quagsire give HP EV's. But are there any other Pokemon that give HP EV's? Not the ones you fight at Orre Colosseum like the Nidoking and Nidoqueen because those don't count; Lugia can't compete, and you cannot gain EXP Points there. My Lugia is a Careful Nature but Careful has nothing to do with HP. It's just the Status growth and what is Careful Nature anyway? Is it neutral, hindering, or beneficial nature?
So if I am to start over and retrain Lugia and choose a different Eevee Pokemon, I randomly chose Umbreon but I may shoot for Espeon although he doesn't have much of a wall of defense than Umbreon unless he's EV trained properly in Defense and Special Defense and of a certain nature that I look up in guidebooks or on psypokes.com, is there a way I can make the most of the prized Pokemon who dropped the SS Libra at the beginning of the game, Lugia to have 415 HP at level 100? At level 99, he had 366 HP and I believed that was a lot but I've also seen level 100 Lugia with 384 HP, your rival at the end of Round 1 of Pokemon Stadium 2 had a level 100 Lugia with 392 HP and at the end of Round 2 of Pokemon Stadium 2, he had a level 100 Lugia with 415 HP and I can't give it any more stat boosts past level 100 so I'm screwed or is it because the game reads I already gave it enough before he reached level 100? This all happened too quickly. I was getting a whole group of Pokemon to evolve but if I battled in the Duel Square of Pyrite Town a lot like I did on Colosseum, they would've already been prepared and I guess I was just in a hurry to see people, I didn't think about all my Pokemon at once. Do this, go here, etc. That kind of thing at the beginning of Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness which didn't occur too much in Pokemon Colosseum.
