ev training question

im ev training my lvl 1 timid gastly in satk at the old chateau. its holding exp share. when i kill a gastly with another pokemon. does it still gain 1 ev or 1/2 an ev (if thats possible). also if there is a better place to train satk or spd please tell me. thanks

You can't gain 1/2 an EV. It gains 1. But I don't know why you'd EV train like that. Fighting 252 Gastlys seems boring. Lol.

im doing that untill i can beat them on my own.. why fight lvl 13 pokemon at lvl 1?

i cant fight lvl 13 pokemon at lvl 1 so im doing that untill i can fight back. ill hold the power lens.
