how's this for a team so far for fire red. tell me how it's looking?

    Mewtwo
    Psychic
    Shadow Ball
    Calm Mind
    Recover

    Tyranitar
    Thrash
    Crunch
    Screech
    Earthquake

    Dragonite
    Dragon Dance
    Dragon Claw
    Hyper Beam
    Thunderbolt

    Snorlax
    Rest
    Hyper Beam
    Flame Thrower
    Substitute

Nice, What are their levels? Have you tried fighting the Elite with them?

    update.

hmm, i'm debating on changing my dragonite, i mean my dragonair is already level 51 so it's almost ready for everything, but maybe haze is a great tool..?

would this be _that_ much better?

    Dragonite
    Haze
    Dragon Dance
    Dragon Claw
    Hyper Beam

    my Mewtwo is set:

    Mewtwo
    Calm Mind
    Psychic
    Shadow Ball
    Recover
    (perfect in my eyes)

    the others im working on.

    oh crap.

one more thing, is tyranitar viable _without_ dragon dance, or am i going to need to go buy leafgreen so i can get a charmander and breed dance to a larvitar all over again? =/

He doesn't need to know dragon dance. I only like to teach my pokemon offensive attacks.. the defensive ones are a waste of time unless the cause a status condition to the other Pokemon.

    check it.

ok, well here's my Final team, let's try and get this going right. =)

Mewtwo @ Leftovers (or Amulet Coin when i'm fighting the elite four for cash)
    --------
    Calm Mind
    Psychic
    Shadow Ball
    Recover

    Dragonite @ ??? (suggestions?)
    ---------
    Dragon Claw
    Dragon Dance
    Hyper Beam
    Thunderbolt

Snorlax @ ??? (suggestions, maybe leftovers?)
    -------
    Rest
    Substitute
    Hyper Beam
    Flamethrower

    Tyranitar @ ??? (suggestions?)
    --------
    Thrash
    Crunch
    ???
??? (what would be two good moves? i'm thinking earthquake and something?)

Um.. Shell bell is a good item to put on them.
Tyranitar, teach it earthquake and Hyper Beam. And yeah, put leftovers on Snorlax.

I'd suggest Rock Slide or Ancientpower as one of them. Probably Earthquake for the other.

i suggeust you don't put hyper beam cause if you run out of pp in the battle you going ot be sry and the same thing happen to my vaporean you noe it had hydro pump and somwthing eles i had to drain all the other pps like at 30 and then i still beat the e4 and i was on lance and i didn't have another pokemon

mmm....one question: what are the pokemons natures and whate are their EV's?

if ur playing the game not other p[layers this may not matter but im just curious

    cheers

    Jaws

ok? does this really matter i mean if they are powerful and have decent moves then they will when anyway the only thing that natuers do is boost a certain skill up more then the others but not by alot.you noe and evs who keeps track really

i nthink you should put to your tyranitar crunch, earthquake, hyper beam, and rock slide

You know, this really should go in Strategies and Movesets:

    Mewtwo@Lum Berry
EV: 252 Att, 252 Speed, 6 Sp Def
    Nature: + Att, - Def
    Shadow Ball
    Brick Break
    Psychic
    Thunderbolt

Shadow Ball for other Psychic types, Brick Break for Dark types, Psychic for Stab, and Thunderbolt for all-round damage.

    Tyranitar@Salac Berry
EV: 252 Sp Att, 252 Speed, 6 Sp Def
Nature: + Sp Att, - Att
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt
    Crunch
    Dragon Claw

    Special sweeper version of T-tar.

    Dragonite@Liechi/Lum Berry
EV: 129 Att, 252 Speed, 129 Sp Att
Nature: + Att, - Sp Def
    Dragon Dance
    Aerial Ace/Earthquake
    Outrage
    Safeguard

Mixed sweeper. Not easy to use, but Dragonite always is hard to use.

    Snorlax@Leftovers
EV: 252 Att, 252 HP, 6 Sp Def
    Nature: + Att, - Speed
    Substitute
    Return/Double-Edge
    Shadow Ball
    Brick Break/Focus Punch

Who says you need to be fast to be a sweeper?

Yes...at first I just saw it as "How's my E4 Team?" which really doesn't need any stratgetgy but now...*moves*
