How to create an event where, if you lose a battle, one thing happened and if you lose, will another happen?

I assume you mean if you win one thing happens and if you lose a different thing happens.

make a conditional branch, go to tab 4, at the bottom select the option for "script" here is where you paste the script for your battle and make sure you have able to lose set to "true"

directly under the conditional branch you should set what you want to happen when you win, under else is when you lose.

    From the wiki:

pbTrainerBattle itself has 7 arguments: The sixth one sets whether the player can continue after losing the battle. If TRUE, the player's party is fully healed upon losing the battle. You should also modify the Conditional Branch to include the "Set handling when conditions do not apply" option (i.e. an "else" part of that Branch), and insert something in there that says the player has lost the battle (you must also set a Self Switch to ON here, like if the battle was won, to prevent the trainer instantly re-challenging the player)
