Everything Was Beautiful
In the beginning
the land was lush and green.
The skies were clear and blue,
And life blossomed.
It was truly a pleasure to the eyes.
The residents of the kingdom were happy,
Not many frowns or tears clouded their faces.
As they went about their daily activities.
Adults worked hard and watched over the children,
While the children played both in the houses
And outside in the fresh fields or on the soft forest floor.
It seemed as though nothing could destroy this peaceful scene.
