Hey I know they suck but here they are...

Rate them. I really need to know what to do to improve as I am a n00b.

Oh yeah i did them in MS Paint as I dont have Photoshop or PSP.

Yeah, I thought I did Bass best as well.

 

[Kusa Nyu]

Guts: 5/10 it looks blurred and the shading wasn't too good
Proto: 5/10 once again, blurred and the shading wasn't good at all
Bass(sp?): 3/10 there was almost no shading and it looks like you used MS paint default colors.

Over All: About a 4/10. You are lucky I give high grades. I think of 5/10 as REALLY bad.

Actually ms paint is the recommended spriting program, I do ALL my work on paint. Photoshop/PSP is the exact same thing only with effects etc. so you have no excuse.

Overall, you have to work on the sprites.

1. Guts: Too bad. Resize it in Paint so it'll be the regular size it should've been. Other than that it's ok.
2. Protoman is good, but when you're saving your sprites on pain, make sure the size is at 100% instead of like 600% it's size.
3. Bass: Outline on the head is not good. Try to make the outlining a very dark colour of the basic colours on his head. And fix the size so it's smaller and nicer.
