If I evolve my pokemon as soon as they are able, are there any permenant advantages over stopping them evolving so they get moves earlier?

I mean mainly permenant stuff, I know that when they evolve they get stronger, but would it make any difference in the long run whether or not I evolve them?

    Thanks.

Yeah, mainly they just learn atacks earlier. It is good to evolve your pokemon though.

    It goes like this:

For some Pokemon, evolving them right away is an advantage towards stats and attacks. For example, Magicarp. While others, you can learn attacks earlier for some Pokemon and master the attacks they could learn at their current form. Either way, it's your call. But if you evolve your Pokemon, you can pre-evolve it, and it will learn different moves, develope new natures, and become more and more attached to you as a trainer.
