A random idea that I thought up of, it's about the ever wondering question: What happens to a Pokemon once it evolves?
They're short stories, well maybe not stories, I dunno.
If you have a request, be my guest.OH LORD
Deep within the Celestial Tower, it's wildly known that wild Litwick and Elgyem run amok within the sacred tower of the dead, due to the fact that they love the dark energy emanating from it.
Litwick are especially popular, as they often lead the living down to their homes, and suck away their life force. Because of these Pokemon, people have stopped visiting their dead Pokemon and family.
And as any ecosystem, when a food source falls short, the predators either die or cannibalize. The Litwick chose cannibalism .
As they began eating each other alive, they started to become stronger and stronger. Soon, Litwick who ate a lot more than others where much more powerful than their peers. And then, they evolved into Lampent.
After that, they began to act strange, as some of the evolved began leaving the Celestial Tower, their once delicious peers soon became nothing more but mere snacks, so they had no choice but to leave.
When this happened, Litwick that once hid from sight now could set the stage for their own evolution, eating their peers and then evolving, following by leaving.
Where did the Lampent go? They wander cities, lurking in the shadows, and waiting for one who is about to die, which happens quite often in cities.
If they find a soul, they then suck the soul away, absorbing the fallen spirit to fuel it's own endless hunger to drown away the pain of eating it's peers.
It even has to fight against other Lampent, otherwise itself would die. Which explains it's unusual violent nature towards others.
And after they've eaten, they go back to sleep, waiting until nightfall to feed on the dead's spirits again, and live another day as a soul that once was.
Being a true Grim Reaper.
