Evolving Tyogue

I'm trying to get a hitmonchan with the iron fist ability, but i've evolved my tyogue 4 times now and every time its had keen eye. should i keep trying, or should i get another tyogue?

don't you mean Hitmonchan? lol you may want to think of getting another Tyrouge. what Ability does the Pokémon you're using now have? a lot of what ability you want has to do with what Ability the Pokémon you're breeding from has to begin with.

If it evolves and gets Keen eye, it will keep getting it, it's like if you wanted to evolve your Wurmple into a Silcoon when it evolves always into a Cascoon. It wont happen even if you reset. I think a Tyrogue with Steadfast will get you the Hitmonchan you want.

If you want to evolve your tyrogue into a Hitmonchan, you got to make sure its Defense stat is higher then its Attack stat, by the time it evolves, and you will have it for sure, it doesn't depend on abilities.

Best thing I can tell you is get a Tyrouge with the Steadfast Ability. That'll pretty much ensure that you get Iron Fist on Hitmonchan.

And for future reference, same goes with Hitmonlee and Body Risk, and Hitmontop and Technician.
