I decided to stop trading for a moment and catch up for training.

I really wanna learn about EVs and IVs and if someone can be kind, Can they either post a link or like just give me a few Pointers about it.

IV stands for "Individual Value" and range from 0-31 and are set in stone and unique to each pokemon you get. So if you catch a wild pokemon, it'll have the same IVs no matter what. To figure out a fresh pokemon's IVs, use this. The higher level a pokemon is, the more accurate its IVs would be in that calculator. So using the wifi level 100 set battles is useful. Most people breed for pokemon with high IVs because pokemon randonly inherit 3 IVs from either parent. You have a slight chance of finding a pokemon in the wild with 31 in one stat. You probably have a better chance finding a shiny pokemon with pokerus than finding a wild pokemon with 31 in all stats so good luck. Look here for more information about IVs.
EV stands for "Effort Value" and range from 0-255 and you can change/manipulate anytime them unlike IVs. You can have only a total of 510 EVs and 255 in one stat. Each pokemon you defeat gives you a certain number of effort points and 4 points equals 1+ when you level up. Pokerus, Macho Brace, and Power items speed up EV gains. So battling a Pikachu will give you 2 EV points in Speed but with pokerus, you'll gain 4. Keep battling Pikachu until you have a good amount (usually 252 since it's nicely divisible by 4) and max out speed. If you want attack, try defeating Carvanha or other pokemon that specialize in attack and so on. A guide and full list of EV gains is listed here.
    Hope I helped.

Nope, the natures dont help the iv's.

The kingra's iv's should be wrong , because it would have been used in battles, thus giving it EV's. So the iv's are probably wrong.
Also, if its not used in any battle , and still it has those Iv's ^^, its probably hacked.

Uhh dunno i got it in a trade and i used the calculator that TwilightBlade gave in a link

^I highly think it's hacked then. Practically no one can get a SHINY, MODEST, and a pokemon with nearly perfect IVs. It's a 1 in 219,902,325,555,200 chance. *hides calculator* 8D
Natures give you a 10% increase and decrease on the two stats IIRC. They don't affect IVs persay but they still affect the pokemon's stats. I'd rather spend my time looking for high IVs since they do help better in the long run.
Edit: Oh yeah, you need to know the EVs the Kingdra has so use the EV reducing berries to get it to it's prime or fresh state. But try putting in its stats and 255 for all EVs and if it STILL says 31, it's hacked.

OK, since this question is strategy-related, I'll move it to the right board.

And kingofgames, please don't double post. I've said this to you already and you do know it's against the rules, right? Thanks.

    Moved~
