Will EXP share split the EV's off to a pokemon with out seeing the fight?

Saying the pokemon I am using is already EV'd out?

I believe (im not 100% sure) but when you use the Exp Share, The pokemon holding it gets the same amount of VE's as the pokemon in battle

EG: Charizard battling, Machop holding Exp. Share>
Charizard gains 3 EV's in speed, so will Machop.

nice, I just relized though, I will be holding Macho Brace

    thanks though..

The Pokémon holding Exp. Share will get the normal amount of EVs from the enemy Pokémon. This means that if the fighting Pokémon is holding a Macho Brace or Power Item to boost EVs, the Exp. Sharing Pokémon won't get the additional EVs, and only get the normal amount. If the Exp. Sharing Pokémon has Pokérus, however, it still doubles the EVs it gets.

Edit: Oh, yea, it would be better if you just have the EV-training Pokémon hold a Macho Brace/Power Item, get sent out first, then switch out right afterwards to a Pokémon that can handle itself.

Good thing you'll be holding a Macho Brace instead, beause you don't get EV's from EXP. share training. The Pokemon has to participate in the battle, even if it just switches out instantly. Plus, the Macho Brace helps EV trianing go faster.

not to mention pokerus, could help double the macho bracer to 4x the amount of gain (without training for speed) and the exp. share holder to 2x.

Wrong. Any experience gain also gives you EVs.

And remember EVs are not split like Experience. Everyone gets the normal amount that the enemy gives.
