Well, what do ya think of EX Cards?
I dun like them... They're easy to defeat (Go Wobuffett =P) and if ya defeat them, ya get two prizes...

Depends on teh EX. Some of them are very powerful and are a serious pain to take down. If played right, an EX could actually turn a battle around.

i have at least one in my decks. in my machamp deck i have groudon ex and in my blastoise i have regiceex, suicune ex,and kyogre ex.

Come to think about it, My strongest deck has four EXs in it. Wailord EX, Ampharos EX, Electabuzz EX, and Kingdra EX. And if any one of them comes out with enough energies (kingdra easiest to powerup) then the opponent will have a field day taking it out. :D

Yeah, but Shedinja (Dragon), Wobbufett (Sandstrom), Ninetails (Hidden Legends) and lots of other cards can destroy any EX Easily, and I have three of those (Wobby) in my Principal Deck, so EX stand no chance against meh! >=D

All EX are all soecially created cards to inspire people to get them. I don't think they are supposed to be put into decks, something so simple like an Aggron can already knock one out in 1 single hit. If your REALLY a fan of EX cards, heres my piece of advice: PUT IT IN THE OVEN O_O

Double edged sword with ex's. They are generally the biggest and most powerful guys that you can get (Blex, Gex, M2X, etc), but also carry the 2 prize penalty and, at least on the evolutions with more than 120 HP, carry 2 weaknesses, as well as the Wobbuffet, Shedinja, and Ninetales. Quite honestly, those 3 counters aren't played as often as I'd like to see, and, as such, Pokemon-ex have the run of the format right now, especially Gex, which has 2 weaknesses that either aren't played or he's strong against. The 2 prize penalty isn't really anything there, it's easily recoverable, so I don't really worry bout it when my opponent KO's my Gex, mostly b/c by the time Gex is gone, it's already taken 3-4 prizes along with it.
