EX Dragon Frontiers Theme Decks

    Epic Collection Theme Decks

    (Sorry for this, I've just read you're only allowed to post discussions about the TCG and rumors/spoilers here. I have no idea where this thread belongs than so I don't know where to re-post this, so if someone could move it to the right place, thanks)

    Hi,

    I'm planning to get back into the game, and I'm starting of by buying 1 of the 3 "Epic Collection Theme Decks". Could someone please put down the contents of the Theme Decks/tell me site that has the contents? I know I can ask which Theme Deck's the best but that's just a matter of opinion: It's better if I know the contents of all 3 decks and choose myself.

    There isn't a Meganium theme deck. Only those two were released.

    All cards are from Dragon Frontiers, except Energy Search and Potion which are from Crystal Guardians, and all Basic Energy cards which have no set.
     
    Really? Then what are those "Epic Collection" decks I've read about in a Pokemon book? I thought for sure it were those Dragon Frontiers decks as they also focused on the 3d stage Pokemon of the G/S/C games.
     
    Nope, they're special theme decks created with non-tournament-legal cards in. They're based on EX Unseen Forces. I think.

    Epic Collection are 3 decks priced at the normal theme deck prices. If they came out years ago they would have been awesome buys, but since UF is to be rotating out, theres not much point.
    They contain a Gen2 starter ex each and non holo versions of holo cards as well as a rare.

    Notable cards the Meganium deck has:
    Meganium ex Holo
    Meganium UF
    Sceptile EM
    Rhydon EM

    Notable cards the Feraligatr deck has:
    Feraligatr ex Holo
    Feraligatr UF
    Slowbro UF
    Swampert EM

    Notable cards the Typ[holsion deck has:
    Typhlosion ex Holo
    Typhlosion UF
    Blaziken EM
    Manectric EM

    Basically theyre great sets for beginners and Ebay, but not for tourny players.
