Exegutor Idea

Ok, so i was sittin here a while ago, and my friend told me of an idea for Exegutor.

Exegutor - Nature [not sure yet]
Item: Leftovers
EV's: Sp.Defense Sp.Attack Health
Move Set:
Spore
Nightmare
Giga Drain
Leech Seed


Basic Idea, hurt while healing. So my question is, what nature should i look for and what moves should i replace.. if any.

No offense, but that won't work. No one will sit around after Spore. Ss soon as they are put to sleep, they will switch. Also, Giga Drain is too weak to be effective.

When you make a strategy, you must think of the consequences. Remember, you're opponent won't sit there and allow you to pull off a strategy.

I didn't even know Executor could learn Nightmare.

Hate to tell you this, but Exeggutor doesn't learn spore. In all actuality, Exeggutor is one of the few that can pull off the Sunnybeamer set:

Exeggutor@Leftovers
Nature: Modest
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SPATK / 200 HP / 56 SPD

Solarbeam
Psychic
Hidden Power Fire/Rock
Sunny Day

Pretty effective in BL battles. Only have to watch out for Abomasnow and Steel Types, but Hidden Power (Fire) will take care of them. You can go Hidden Power (Rock) if you want, but that leaves you vulnerable to being walled by Steels.

Spore is an egg move... so all you need to do is breed it with a parasect, or whatever.

AS soon as you put them to sleep they switch ruining the whole strategy thats the point.

Also check, Parasect, Shroomish and Breloom, Smeargle are the only pokemon to learn spore, its not in Exggutors egg move list.

Exeggutor's downfall is it's terrible Special Defense. X.x So watch out for Arcanine, Houndoom, Ninetales, Vileplumes, etc. One Sludge Bomb or Flamethrower will OHKO or 2HKO if you're lucky. If you use Explosion, it might be wise to put the EVs into ATK rather than SPD.

EDIT: Just because they're in the same Egg Group, doesn't mean they can pass moves onto one another. Check Serebii, Marriland, etc. for Egg Moves before you make assumptions.

Well, from what i member, it is possible in FireRed, and Leaf Green, and transfering over is possible

No, sorry. I just checked out 3rd gen Executor. It neither learns it via level up, or egg move.

Yeah, but we have a few problems:

- Exeggutor can't learn Spore
- Exeggutor can't learn Nightmare
- Nobody's going to be STUPID enough to keep a sleeping Pokemon in unless it's abusing Sleep Talk

SleepStall sets are the suck unless it's Breloom with Swords Dance or Focus Punch.

My Exeggutor does in fact know nightmare... i has hypnosis right now... so i'd beg to differ on that fact. Well... i know they won't keep them out, but he can still sit there sucking other pokemon of energy. i thought it was interesting

Hypnosis, yes. But the only way you have Nightmare AND Spore is by hacking.

Except Exeggutor CAN'T LEARN NIGHTMARE.
It's obviously an Exeggutor created by Action Replay. I frown upon that.

Dude, Exeggutor CANNOT learn Nightmare or Spore. I don't have a problem with people using the Action Replay to catch a Pokemon as long as they leave them untouched (e.g. no touching the IVs, Natures, EVs, Ability, etc.) I'd like to battle this Exeggutor, and see it's prowess. I've given you a suggested, LEGAL move set. I'd recommend using it unless you want to be blacklisted by most people.

As such, this thread should be locked. Asking to get a hacked pokemon rated is a waste. Especially with a lame strategy like that.
