Expanded Pokedex Trainer Editor

I've been recently interested in learning how much of the ROM hacking tools work. Scripting, Advance Map, etc.

There is one major thing I've started attempting to learn and I have the basics down, but the rom hack base I was experimenting with (Aritificial Red by Epsilon) has an expanded Dex. Advance Map didn't recognize the new pokemon, some searching fixed that problem but now Advance Trainer, HTE, PGE, and G3T all don't seem to be recognizing it.
Upon trying to search for fixes for Advance Trainers I've jumped from program to supposedly better program after reading numerous posts about similar issues and the responses usually being "This Program is better for that" but they seem to all have the same or worse problems.

PGE is the only editor that has an option to "Add Pokemon" supposedly but then they come out scrambled text with only the Unowns and a Bad Egg being legible.
Multiple Unhandled Exception errors, HTE simply refuses to open the expanded rom with a "Error Loading Rom" error.

I'm at my wits' end on the whole endeavor. The only trainer editor I haven't tried is Unnamed Trainer Editor because I have yet to get it to successfully compile AND open.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, All.

    EDIT 1 4/23/2023
I was finally able to make some progress. My dumb ass forgot to check the INIs for G3T which finally allowed to just make the number higher and work sort of as expected in the BPRE.ini
All Pokemon are there and accounted for.

I tried that one as well. Unfortunately I ran into the same issues.
Comprehensive program, but it didn't solve the problem I was having.

HexManiacAdvance is the only tool that handles all its rom metadata in the external .toml file. It's like a .ini but much more comprehensive. That makes it the only tool that even has a chance at adapting to arbitrary non-vanilla rom bases, and an expanded dex is very easy to get it to read. It even has a dedicated tutorial for that exact thing.
