Experimental Evasion (PG-16)

I saw a girl coming out from another room... it was a girl with a hoodie as many would say. As soon as I was going to ask her if she wanted to come, and get out of that place, the blonde girl made the wall explode. As the smoke made my normal vision failed... my electric vision was triggered. I saw everything clear... and looked how the girl sent a rocket and possibly killed some soldiers.

"you are not a monster... you are... unique. You sound like a computer too... but no one got a problem with that... and to answer your question... I agree with that 'method'" I said to the blonde girl as saw outside. Still with my electric vision... I saw some men on the floor... the silver color in them was starting to disappear... that was a sign of getting weak... if the silver color went out completely, they were dead... but I didn't had the chance to see it, since I turned my head to see the blonde girl again. awesome technology I thought to myself... my interests in sciences and technology came back to me as soon as I saw her transform her arms and body to weapons.

Moriatti grabbed the gates; another thing common in the torture he endured, the electricity that kept these gates running.
However, he had experienced less of it, and winced slightly.
Once he was over the fence, he looked around, searchlights, gaurds, none of them knew he was there. Good.
He began the process of crawling around, hiding, he didn't want to alert them to his presence, in the case that they had experimental weapons that he hadn't adapted to yet; he would need all of the stanima he could keep.
Finally, after a long, treacherous crossing, he finally made it to the air duct that he had first escaped from.
They hadn't known it then.
He strongly doubted they'd noticed, even by now.
But he wasn't taking chances, he crawled another ten feet to the next air duct, and crawled through that one, hoping to find the experiments, hoping to free them.
He came to a vent, through it, he could see fighting, between many soldiers, and a few with extrodinary powers. So, they've already rebelled? I must've been polite comparitively! He laughed, and dropped into the thick of the fight, and, turning to the nearest rebel, smiled.
"Mind if I lend a hand?"

OOC:BTW, if it's ok with the game master, feel free to powerplay my char in complex post, I'm interested to see what you guys would do.
Also, I like to make it easier.

"Come on, kid."

Kaika's eyes flickered open as a gruff voice rang out through his cell. Slowly raising himself from the ground, a wisp of snow-coloured hair brushed before his rose-red eyes. Pausing as he heard the heavy scrape of his steel manacles, Kaika then turned toward the uniformed guard that stood at his cell door.

Stepping into the room, his steps echoing coldly, the guard knelt beside the young prisoner and inserted his key into the lock that bound Kaika's chains to the wall. As the lock snapped open, the guard inserted the key into his belt and took ahold of the thick chains.

"Let's go. We're moving you to a new facility."

Standing to follow the guard, Kaika ventured a question.

"A new facility? Why?"

"Not that it's any of your business, but we've had some prisoners break out of here." Turning his hardened gaze to the boy, the guard added, "Don't start getting any ideas, though. You'd never stand a chance of escape."

Kaika nodded faintly, turning his face downward.

Allowing himself to be led from his cell into the hall, Kaika followed the guard wordlessly as he was brought around a series of corners and through various halls. Then, the guard paused.

Curious flitted across Kaika's docile features, though he did not raise his eyes. Rather, he listened intently as faint voices were heard amidst the clamor of combat.

This may be it . . . my chance of escape. The light of the youth's scarlet eyes flickered. I could get away from here . . . But, where would I go? I've never liked this place, but I can't even remember what the outside world was like. What if it's worse? What if-- Kaika bit his lip, a single drop of blood--red as his eyes--slipping down his chin.

"Move it, kid," the guard commanded, tugging the chain roughly.

Kaika said nothing. Instead, he dropped into a kneel, grasping his chains with both hands and wrenching them from the guard's grasp. Then, in a single movement, he sprang backward while increasing the gravitation pull of ceiling area above the guard. Immediately, the section of cement crashed to the ground.

Not looking back to see the results of his attack, Kaika fled in the direction of the other escapees. Although logic would dictate that he separate himself from the others to avoid any major battles, he knew he would never last alone once in the outside world.

Hearing the sounds of the guard pursuing him, Kaika knew the man had escaped his attack. And, as he turned a corner and saw the others, the youth froze as he felt the cold steel of a gunpoint touch his neck.

Sinos keeps up her hood and moves forward, entring the fray of combat, a psychokinetic force barrier between her and the oncoming fire that is pummeling her. A wicked smile crosses Sinos' face as she realizes something... she's free to make these bastards pay for what they'd done to her.... oh yes, they would suffer for all of what they'd done.

Sinos continues to walk forward through the enemies, her psychokinetic barrier enveloping her completely to shield her from the oncoming gun shots and, as she passed the men who were shooting at her, those nearest to her caught fire and began to burn, most ran scremaing, but some continued to shoot at her even tough they were dying... sinos did not care, all she cared about was eliminating these... she didn't even know what to call them, even cruel, inhuman monsters seemed too kind a word.

As Sinos continued through the enemy's ranks, for some unknown reason, some of them turn their guns on their allies and begin firing, their attitudes changed entirely at the moment they do. After they kill their current adversary, they saunter onward to another of their former allies and continue to attack as they are now Sinos' loyal thralls. She cooontinues to casually stride through the battle as though nothing can touch her, as though she were an immortal striding through a mortal battleground...

I grinned. "It is, but I prefer my way." I said, the katanas spinning easily in my hands, the humming becoming a wild shriek. I ran AWAY from the soldiers, and upon reaching the wall, I simply jumped and rebounded off of it, moving with the maximum agility and speed of this shell as I plunged right into the midst of the soldiers, my blades cutting down a space around me as soon as I leapt from one group to the next. I was still careful though, this was only bullet resistant, rather than proof, after a while, my armor coating would be scraped away by the shots...

As the battle continued, I snuck away from the group towards those who made me what I was now. "Knock. Knock." I said as I approached the entrance to the room where I had woken up, a huge hammer in the place of my right arm. I swung the hammer, taking a large section of the wall before me with it, and I entered.

"I'd rather not waste my time with a trivial game such as hide-and-go-seek." I muttered as I found an empty room. I however, knew there was a secret passage in the back, since they were foolish enough to use it while I was awake.

SMASH! There went that door as well, revealing the scientists behind it. I watched them cower before me. If they wanted to create the ultimate weapon, they should've made sure they could control it first.

My eyes turned a dark red as my entire body became large and bulky, my clothes tearing to shreds, and alligator-like snout shooting from my mouth, razor sharp teeth lining up inside. Red scales began to cover my body, and a tail shot from behind me. During the change, I was heard making grunts and cries in pain, until they finally became shrieks and growls. I lost control, and lunged at the scientists, their cries and shrieks of pain could be heard from anywhere in the vicinity.

About 3 minutes later, that particular building exploded with a large bang, taking out multiple buildings around it, and leaving a fiery mess behind. I emerged from the fire, blood splattered across my now normal face. I licked a bit out of the corner of my mouth, muttering "Delicious" before continuing, leaving the rest to remain.

I saw the blonde girl going away to somewhere else. I didn't do anything until I saw someone asking if he could help us. "why not!?" I replied making my nials grow and killed a soldier stabbing him and then kicking him away from me. I saw then one of us with a soldier behind him and his gun just touching the experiment's neck.

I became fast and saw how everything went slow out of a sudden. I ran to the boy's position after running on the wall and kicking a soldier and then passing my nail just through his throat. I got his postition and cut the gun in two, stabbed the soldier twice and threw him against the nearest wall. I stopped being fast and looked around.

The battle kept going... for some minutes. I killed many soldiers, stil not revealing any electrical power of mine. I grabbed a soldier and stabbed him like... 25 times before shocking him and throwing him to a wall. Yes... I recieved bulelts too... but my skin was hard enough to resist them... of course, they also slowed me a bit. But just a bit later... I felt a big explosion... I can't exactly describe what happened. I just remember standing up from the fire, from the things that were left after the explosion and that I was all dirty. I had some blood coming from my mouth... but I cleaned it with my tongue before enjoying the acid flavor of it. I looked around... and the place was destroyed... what was I going to do?

Kaika stiffened as someone brushed past him--destroying the guard and his weapon. Frozen in his position, the youth viewed the following battle in shocked silence.

Within minutes, every guard and weapon had been rendered useless by one of the escaped test subjects. Recoiling as he gazed at the fire that resulted from one of the battle's explosion, Kaika felt his knees collapse beneath him.

White hair hanging unkempt before his face, the male struggled to breathe as his crimson eyes fixed their glance on the rippling flames. As Kaika slowly raised a trembling hand toward the flames, the firelight danced mockingly across his features and reflected in his terrified eyes. Then, narrowing his eyes slightly, Kaika clenched his raised hand as a scarlet aura formed itself about him.

Suddenly, the flames extinguished themselves--as though smothered by an unseen force. Only smoke remained, mingling with residual wisps of blood-red energy.

"Well done." Moriatti said from the shadows, he didn't mind the fact that he stood out the entire battle being ignored, he didn't think anything different would happen.
"You guys cleared them out faster than I thought." He smiled, and winked, before walking away.
"By the way, you might want to know that people don't like those who are different; they are easily scared."

"Lets go... the path is clear..." I said as I reunited with the group, expecting to recieve stares for the human blood splattered across my face. I didn't wait for them, and walked ahead to the gate, where a guard ran away. Leaving from there was quite a simple task really. Now... I needed a place to hide. Wait, that was it! A friend of my father lived nearby here! She was a scientist from what I remember. Perhaps she could change me back, or at least remove me from this form...

Back in City 17, Katherine strolled into a nearby café and took a seat at the nearest available table. A waiter walked up to her. "Good afternoon, ma'am. What will you be having today?" he asked her.

"Nothing for me right now, thanks," Katherine replied politely. She was showing remarkable self-control today; on an average day, she would have snapped at the poor guy. She took the briefcase she took from the dead blue-suited assassin and placed it on the table, then opened it. Inside were three fountain pens, a notepad, a SIG-Sauer P228 in its holster, a PDA, and an ID card. Katherine picked it up. "William Jefferey Spender, age 25, height 6'1, weight 180 pounds, black hair, green eyes," she recited from the card. "Kinda sounds like that G-Man person from 'Half-Life.'"

Katherine put the card back in the case, then picked up the notepad. She started reading it (at least, those parts that were actually decipherable). Amidst the sketches of anime-style naked chicks and scribbled profanities and gibberish, she found a few things of interest. "'TSC won't not let the system commence. Employers don't agree. Scientists are frauds,'" Katherine read aloud to herself. She turned the page. There was a letter, neatly penned in a hand way different from Mr. Spender's sloppy script. It read:

We now have direct confirmation of a disruptor in our midst, one who has acquired an almost messianic reputation in the minds of certain citizens. Her figure is synonymous with the darkest urges of instinct, senselessness, and entropy. Some of the worst excesses of the Nova Prospekt incident have been laid directly at her feet. And yet, these American idiots continue to imbue her with romantic power, giving her such dangerous poetic labels such as the "Crimson Flame, Light of Truth."

Let me remind all of you of the dangers of backwards, superstitious thinking. We have scarcely begun to climb from the dark pit of humanity's evolution. Let us not slide backward into oblivion, just as we have finally begun to see the light. If you see this so-called "Crimson Flame," report her. Civic deeds do not go unrewarded, and conversely, complicity with her cause will not go unpunished.

"Signed, Francis J. Bradley," Katherine said as she finished reading the letter. "Who the hell is Francis J. Bradley?" she asked herself as she kept reading.

Standing and approaching the group, Kaika turned as Sara returned. His gaze briefly passed over the streaks of blood on her features, understanding their origin. Then, shifting his glance to Moriatti as he followed Sara out of the facility, he asked, "Different? So, the rest of the world is different from us? How?"

His scarlet eyes shone innocently as he stared wonderingly at the others. His memory being as limited as it was, Kaika could not recall the normalcies of the outside world.

I walked out from behind a gate, smiling slightly, and resisting the urge to giggle. There were some changes to my personality, but I could control them, somewhat. "have fun?" I asked, grinning at the blood. Of course my katanas were just as drenched. "Go? Certainly,. if you have somewhere n mind. My family sure isn't going to recognize me, and I don't think they're going to let this go without a little payback." I still hadn't realised how strange it was to see a little girl talking like this...

"There." I said as I pointed to a building down along a nearby road. "It's so close, nobody will expect that we're hiding there, plus I know the woman who lives there. She can probably help us. I'm hoping, she can change me back..." My emotions were starting to break free again, and I didn't care this time, not at the least. I turned my head to the side, to see a smile on my face, and tears flowing down my face, washing the blood away. "Anyways, I'm going ahead." I said as I began to run down the road to the large building. The first half of it, was a small mansion, the other half was a lab, I had been there before.

I entered the building without knocking first, where I was greeted by a japanese woman in a white labcoat, holding a clipboard. "Who ARE you?" She asked me. I gladly explained, and she took me to one of the labs, only to return to the door a few minutes later, waiting for the others to arrive.

OOC: Sorry I'm rushing things, but I'm just trying to get through this boring stuff, XD

Being of somewhat lesser stature than the other group members, Kaika increased his pace to match the others' speed. Watching Sara intently, the youth remained outside the doorway of the mansion as she entered. Seeing no apparent harm brought to the former male, Kaika hesitantly stepped into the house.

It was then that the Japanese woman returned from the lab. Swiftly stepping back out of the house, Kaika stammered, "I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have entered without asking . . . "

"The 'outside' wolrd it's not different from us... we are exactly the same as everyone else, we just got disppeared for some days... months... oh whatever" I told Kaika as I followed the group. The first thought I had was going back to my family... but I needed to get used to my powers first.

"So... it's okay to stay there atleast for a while?" I asked Sara. But after she ran, I got a terrible headache. I got to the nearest wall and rested my body against it. After some seconds, the headache disappeared. I sighed for relief, and followed the group again.

I walked but stopped infront of the building. I looked at it and thought it was... big. I kept but stopped again infront of the door. I tried to look inside but thought that it was going to be wrong. "can I come in?" I asked with a smile before walking in... had some manners... you know... moms.

ooc: added a new power... the reason of the headache... you still can tell that I need to stop using one... I won't godmodd though.

Katherine kept flipping through Mr. Spender's notepad, taking note of anything she saw as interesting or significant. She saw a detailed drawing of her, probably made by a police sketch artist; she noted the resemblance to an attached picture of Stellar Loussier from Gundam SEED Destiny. "Do I really look like Stellar?" Katherine asked herself as she kept on going through the notepad. More anime chicks and profanities, it seemed. She put the notepad down and closed the briefcase, then stood up to leave the café. Just then, the waiter who had greeted her earlier came running up to her. "Hey, wait, lady!" he called out.

Katherine turned around and glared at the waiter; he froze in his tracks and shrank a bit. "WHAT IS IT, ASSHOLE?!" she snapped.

"Uh... Your name is Katie Madigan, right?" the waiter asked nervously. "The Crimson Flame? One of only a few people to escape from Nova Prospekt?"

"Yes, I'm Katie Madigan, the Crimson Flame and escapee from Nova Prospekt," Katherine replied, considerably calmer yet somewhat irritated. "What of it?"

"My name's Alexander Vance," the waiter replied. "I also escaped from Nova Prospekt, along with my younger sister Eliana. We were used to test antibiotics, anti-viral drugs, and other pharmaceuticals. We managed to escape around the same time you did among the chaos caused by your breakout."

"Really? Cool. I guess you kinda owe me some gratitude for assisting in your escape," Katherine said.

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. At first, I didn't believe that it was you, but I saw the wanted posters and realized your identity. You were probably followed here by government agents, right?"

"I ran into an obnoxious merc earlier."

"Government payroll, probably. Listen, they're coming down on this place. I'm gonna help you get out of here. You helped me escape, now I'm gonna help you escape."

"Gee, thanks."

I dropped down from the roof as she came outside again, and held out my hand. "I'm... Rob." I said to the woman. "I'm in a position similar to david." I said, before explaining how my condition worked. "Do you think you could help me? I know it's not all that common to have computer-controlled robots just laying around, but I doubt it could be worse than this." Famous last words.

Moriatti laughed, they were still denying their difference.
He had been down that road.
It changes you.
But he wasn't going to point that out now; he felt that it was more important that they trusted each-other, the upcoming trials would be increasingly reliant upon that; he knew.
He walked into the lab, and smiled.

OOC: Please tell me if I get in the way.

The lady completely ignored Rob, I'm assuming because he was rude and disrespectful enough to easedrop on my conversation with her, and turned to the others. "If you could, please wait in the living room down the hall." She said as she pointed to a huge wooden door, a large, luxuious room behind it. "I will discuss your future with you after I deal with 'her.'" When she said her, she was referring to me. I was to undergo another experiment, this time to change me back. She walked back into the lab section, leaving the others alone.

Before she had gone out to greet the others, she had placed me in an unconcious state, on a bed underneath a large, strange machine. I came to sometime later, only to find her with a worried look on her face.

"I couldn't change you back, David." She said, "And when this device tried to tamper with the nanotechnology, it totally destroyed the form you had before, along with your original male form. However, I've placed you in a new form which won't require you to use your Nanotechnology related abilities as much, so you can keep a low profile."

She stood me up, and handed me a... staff and a gun? "While going through the possible forms, this one registered with some magical capabilities, which can be utilized via the staff, and the gun is just to be safe. However, there Nanotechnology wouldn't allow me to give you a male form for some reason..." She held a mirror in front of me, and I sort of stared. It was an improvement compared to the earlier form I had taken, since I looked a few years older, and a bit more attractive. The clothes were... interesting, and so was my hair. It was hard to resist looking at my chest, and when I tried she hit me in the head. "You must use Nanotechnology ONLY as a last resort. If you use it, the government will be able to track your location, understand?"

With that, she led me back out to the living room. Well, I slowly walked behind her, supporting myself with the staff, since my whole body ached as a result of the changing, and I sat down on the couch, seeing if people would wonder who I was.
