    You have to setup the play precisely.
    No, RMXP only has 3 layers, EGM has unlimited. Unless you meant tilesets than both do.

    The engine was made with RPGs in mind and I wouldn't be surprised if someone releases a Pokemon template.
    I plan on making one when the engine is released(it's still in beta that's why I'm hesitating)

    What about 3d and non turn based pokemon battles (GBC/GBA and NDS have turn based battles) I wouldn't want to create a mouse click battle type game either like most pokemon mmo's have done. I'd prefer to make a proper battling style pokemon game
