How many people do you intend to have on each side?
-------------------------
Wha, la! Seems interesting, and I enjoyed creating this character. Make note, if you need more synthetics, I can easily convert this character into a clone.
Name: Gerallt (G-ear-alt) Lorweth Siarl
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Faction: True Born
Appearance:
Gerallt has strong facial feature that when combined with a mischievous smile makes people grip the belongings tighter when they see him. There is some small fuzz on Gerallt's chin that he claims will be cut off with his pocket knife if it dares to grow longer. His upper lip has been spared any hair, and Gerald would loathe if any starts to grow there.
He is bony and his muscles are lean from his active life. His skin is slightly tanned from a love of the out doors, though most people are distracted from that by the mop of curly red hair on his head. He is rather tall, and last time he checked he was a few inches over six feet. His smile appears to be a bit yellow, as Gerallt doesn't often have time to brush his teeth when tryng to take a picture of an elusive wild pokemon, or when tying to keep as quiet as possible when the T.B.R.A. are in the forest in your backyard.
A large camping pack is carried by Gerallt containing a sleeping bag, a digital camera, a tri-pod, a miniature laptop, a solar charger, a fishing rod and a small net, some pots and pans, a Sinnoh issued army knife, and a Kanto issued army knife, along with a water tight box of matches.
Practical tan pants coupled with a short sleeved tan jacket to match make up Gerallt's limited wardrobe. He also has a few black under shirts if it gets to hot. His tan army cap is some times worn to keep the sun out of Gerallt's eyes. His cargo boots easily get him through the last few pieces of wilderness he traverses. All his clothes have coffee stains and are a bit worn out, though Gerallt always says that some day people will realize that he's wearing the most fashionable clothes around.
Personality: Growing up with pranksters for siblings, it's no surprise that Gerallt is a prankster himself. He believes that life is not worth living if he doesn't get a good laugh out of it, even though his army days did teach him when to be serious. Gerallt will still tease those he's close to now a day, though he has become more withdrawn. People often don't trust him because he will flash his mischievous smile when meeting people instead of trying to make a good impression.
He doesn't look for a relationship with people because he considers the great outdoors better than any relationship. A lot of his actions seem random, but he is actually very good at thinking things through. The problem is that he often doesn't think things through. His huge pride for his country doesn't help matters any.
One of his major drawbacks is his low standards for people, having seen how low people will stoop when he served. He prefers to spend hours waiting for a furret to return to its den to get that perfect shot, than trying to better the world. The only reason Gerallt is helping in the fight against Synthetics is his proud for his country, as he believes they ruined the Sinnoh's grandiose with their petty fighting. So obviously, he resorts to helping Wilcott fight against the Synthetics in the hope to restore Sinnoh's prestige.
History: Gerallt was born in Solaceon Town. His older sisters were twins, well-known as pranksters and explorers in the small ranching town. Gerallt grew up to follow their example, though he couldn't explore the ruins, as his sisters had called that place.
When he turned thirteen his parents let him raise one of the many baby doduos they produced as his own. The doduo was christened Owain. Owain's training was never much geared towards evolving, as he was from a long line of racing dodrio and his training focused on endurance and speed. This also marked when Solaceon started advancing technologically, and became a "City." When Gerallt turned eighteen he enlisted, and he caught a wild shinx to celebrate.
That was when the second Hoenn – Kanto war started. Sinnoh agreed to support Hoenn, and Gerallt was chosen to infiltrate the K.A.F (Kanto Armed Forces) as technical support just as he turned twenty. The government spent two months training him and a handful of others to join K.A.F. and relay their troop movements to the base of operations Hoenn had set up in the Seafoam Islands. The war went on for three years until Hoenn and Kanto called a truce. The cover I.D. Gerallt had been using went missing, deemed a deserter, and Gerallt served two more years with the government until he was allowed to leave the military and never receive retirement.
Gerallt spent the next two years on photography assignments for National Pokegraphic. The shinx he had caught when he had enlisted had evolved along with Owain. During one of these photography trips Gerallt caught a bronzer he had found. Gerallt had been sent to Eterna Forest to film murkrow when he had stumbled into the fleeing Xavier Wilcott.
Gerallt now resides at the Old Chateau, waiting for Wilcott to reveal his miraculous plan to restore Sinnoh's honor.
Pokémon:
Balthazar, Male
Luxray
Appearance: Balthazar is a regular luxray if you don't count the very apparent fags that poke out of mouth. His tail is also missing a point where it splits, but other than that he is the typical feline-like, mouse eared luxray. A plain metal helmet protects his head from any serious attacks, and Gerallt calls it Balthazar's "Crown of Wisdom."
Personality: Balthazar is a loyal tracker for Gerallt, though he has an ego and pride as big as the Old Chateau itself. He will zealously fight if commanded as he does enjoy the power he feels when the opponent is at his mercy. While infinitely more serious than Gerallt could ever be, he is reverted back into a cub if scratched behind the ear.
History: Gerallt caught Balthazar as a cub when his parents had abandoned him as the runt of the litter. Upon being captured, Balthazar tried to appear as haughty as possible, which led to him being named after one of the three wise kings. Balthazar is actually an amazing fighter, having gotten Gerallt out of many situations. He evolved into a luxray when Gerallt returned home after the war.
Moves: Thunder Wave, Crunch, Thunder Fang, Tackle, Bite
Annetta, Genderless (considered female)
Bronzong
Appearance: Annetta is rather large, even for a bronzong, and two full grown men could fit under her hollow shell. The tree design etched into her body is a light sky blue, causing it to stand out against her murky blue green metal. She often only shields her allies, though she can pack a punch.
Personality: Annetta is sassy and has a vicious psychic glare. She hates it if she feels inferior to anyone, though she does love to perform the practical jokes of Gerallt's childhood. It's because of her that everyone ate blue food for a week in the Old Chateau.
History: Annetta had actually been sleeping as a bronzor when Gerallt tripped over her, and she had then followed him for a week until he caught her in a great ball simply so he didn't have to feel her psychic glare.
Moves: Flash Cannon, Confusion, Light Screen, Reflect, Iron Defense
OWaIn, Male
Dodrio
Appearance: OWaIn wears a custom made leather saddle with reigns that Gerallt's parents made. O and In, the outside heads, are blindfolded when Gerallt rides OWaIn, that way Wa can be the override main brain. If O and In weren't blindfolded, OWaIn would bicker with himself over who gets to be in control during the run. The usually black necks of male dodrios are a dark grey on OWaIn.
Personality: OWaIn is over all inquisitive, though each head has his own distinct feature. O is a major ladies man, though he has a small problem with the word loyalty to anyone but his best friends Wa, In, and Gerallt. Wa on the other hand is a bit of a nerd, but loves to be reckless and unpredictable. In is the innocent baby of Gerallt's pokemon, but happens to be a bit violent towards strangers.
History: Ow was very curious as a doduo, while Ain was a total trickster. OwAin was the perfect doduo for Gerallt as a kid, and the two terrorized Solaceon City with their jokes. The army didn't change things much, though OwAin did get more serious along with Gerallt, and that seriousness carried on to OWaIn during evolution.
Moves: Tri-Attack, Ariel Ace, Agility, Quick Attack, Screech
Christopher watched on in an amused way as the poor girl ran out of the dark gym. He was disgusted at how the other trainers around looked upon the scene in an adoring way. They might have well as been in love with Esthin. That didn't matter though. Christopher was there to receive the pokemon that was to help him and to figure out a way to repay the Void Gym's leader.
Deep in his thoughts, Christopher was jolted to attention when he heard Esthin start talking; "…Royel, Renoira. I will give you your Pokemon, then you will board the ferry that will take you to Littleroot Port. From there I expect you to locate and terminate Lance's pets." Christopher strode forward confidently, quickly claiming his pokemon. He then turned toward the exit of the gym, but not before he heard Esthin's voice speak out, saying "Do not fail me, or else you may be terminated, too. Christopher Royel."
Christopher's hair rose on the back of his neck, though he simply continued toward the door, albeit a bit faster.
Outside it was much warmer, and Christopher was forced to spend a moment letting his eyes adjust to the light. He mused over that termination bit, thinking to himself, "I can delay them instead, can' t I?" With that, Christopher walked down the road to ponder his mission.
*
Christopher stared out across the tide pools Mossdeep was known for. His parents would be expecting a call, and Christopher had an hour before his ferry left the port. He made his decision and pulled out a rounded object from his pocket. There was then a flash of light, illuminating a pokeball and a murkrow. "So, Murkrow it is," Christopher said in a flat tone, "Well show me what you got!"
He was now pointing at a crabby crawling through the sand in a lazy manner, and the murkrow quickly gained altitude before diving toward the crab pokemon and performing an astonish attack. The murkrow then followed up with a confuse ray, his eyes flashing purple, as the crabby jumped back in surprise. The crabby's eyes flashed the same shade of purple seconds later, before banging its claws on the sand over and over again. Murkrow flew in with a quick peck, and after that the crabby started to run for the open ocean. Sadly, Murkrow was faster, pursuing the crabby with none other than a pursuit attack. That was the end of it.
*
"…Of course mother," Christopher quietly whispered into the phone, as his mother went through a checklist of things he would need to appear well-groomed. His mother went on, saying "And don't forget to wear that nice suit I bought when you are in the city." Christopher answered his usual "Yes mother," and was glad he wouldn't have to stop by Mauville City for a while yet.
With that Christopher walked towards the harbor to catch his boat. Murkrow was in a pokeball in Christopher's pocket, and the two had already gained a mutual respect for each other.
