  • Name: Samuel Hamidi Stokes
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
    Faction: True-Born

Appearance: The first thing you see when you look at Sam is a large mop of blonde hair that is always extremely messy. He never bothers to brush it so it just hangs down over his ears and his eyes. Under the hair is a surprisingly serious looking face with murky grey/blue eyes.
Sam is quite tall with tanned skin that other people envy, although he never tries to get a tan. His body shows signs of being athletic and fit which Sam takes pride in. He always tries to keep up physical activity and respect the body he was given.
Clothing wise, Sam is never seen without his usual getup: a pair of brown pants that have zips around the legs that allow them to become shorts and are tied to his waist with a belt, a blue shirt that says "TOKYO 82", and a woolly black vest. He always wears his white skate shoes. Around his wrist he wears a blue armband given to him by his father.

Personality: Sam is overwhelmed by the state of the world these days. Wars against humans and clones? Wars were pointless in his opinion. All that ended up happening was that lots of people died and people were plunged into misery. For this reason he hates the battle between Synthetics and True-borns and wishes for peace between the two.
That being said, Sam, despises the Synthetic's destruction of True-Borns. Such behavior shouldn't be shown by anybody. It is for this reason that Sam rebels against the Synthetics every now and then by sticking with his fellow True-Borns. He feels resentment towards them due to the death of his family and hometown.
In general, Sam acts like a general teen. He loves to joke around and chill with his Pokemon. Even though he doesn't remember anything about his life before hand and doesn't know if he has family or friends looking for him, he still has high values in loyalty and respect. Sam feels like he has a duty to bring peace to the land and he isn't going to stop until he does.

History: Before the Synthetic uprising, Sam lived a normal, boring life. He lived in the Sinnoh town of Solaceon. His family ran a small business that gave guided tours of the Solaceon Ruins and they made enough money to live peacefully. He was given a Trapinch for his 10th birthday and travelled a bit with a friend of his from school. Life was good.
Then it all went downhill. The creation of clones and their mistreatment, rebellion and the mass uprising of the Synthetics. Sam had been home only a week when it all happened. Predictably, a small town like Solaceon didn't last long at all and within a few short hours the whole town had been ransacked and ridden of True-Borns.
Sam and his family hid in his basement, but soon enough a few Synthetics started attempting to get in. Hastily, Sam's parents gave him some supplies and clothes so he could escape while they held them off with their Pokemon. He was told to run as fast as he could and not look back. He was told how much they loved him. Then, with tears pouring from his eyes, he did as he was told.
Sam managed to survive in the wild with Sucussio and eventually caught Ungues. He heard of a safe haven in the Old Chateau and felt a strange desire to go there. And thus his journey truly begins.

    Pokémon:
    Nickname: Sucussio
    Species: Vibrava
    Gender: Female
    Type: True-Born
    Moves: DragonBreath, Supersonic, Sandstorm, Fly
History: After he turned 10, Sam was given a Trapinch as his first Pokemon from his parents. It was sitting in a box on the end of Sam's bed when he woke up, probably the best surprise ever. The pair trained together daily and over time forged a strong bond until one day, it evolved into a Vibrava. There isn't really much else to know about this prized member of Sam's team.
Personality: Sucussio is usually seen as a cheery, fun loving mischief maker who loves playing the occasional practical joke on it's owner. During battle, however, it can be dangerous to be around as it is sometimes careless and can send attacks flying in random directions. Despite it's flaws, Sam wouldn't have his Pokemon changed for anything and Sucussio shows the same feelings.

    Nickname: Ungues
    Species: Kingler
    Gender: Male
    Type: True-Born
    Moves: Surf, Protect, BubbleBeam, ViceGrip
History: Sam caught Ungues whilst on the run from the Synthetics. One look at the cheerful Krabby, and some part of him instinctively knew what to call him. And Ungues has stuck with him since. Between then and now it has evolved into a powerful Kingler.
Personality: From the time Sam met Ungues, he has found him to be quite a bipolar Pokemon. At times he is immature, as shown by one case where he picked a fight with a wild Pokemon over seemingly nothing. At other times he is deadly serious, ready to defend Sam and Sucussio when they are in need.

  • Mark and perfectmonster, you're both accepted. Now that we have that out of the way let me do some organization, get Chase up, and then we'll start.

This isn't finished quite yet, kiddies, so don't peek. But I'm getting there.

    Name:
    Chase Hess

    Age: Biologically 23

    Gender: Male

    Faction: T.B.R.A.

Appearance: Chase's black eyes are as friendly as such intimidating eyes can be. He's almost always smiling, except for when he's training. Then he wears an expression of utmost concentration and enthusiasm. His skin is a healthily tanned hue from the time he has spent in the training center. The same work is what has caused him to be fit in a toned, but not bulky way. He is much stronger than he looks, since T.B.R.A. tan for strength and longevity, not for bulk and attractiveness. There is not a single scar on his body, thanks to the excellent medical care the Synthetics receive. Any injury he has ever suffered has been healed effectively and quickly, and all scars have been medically removed. However, when he starts his fieldwork he will be allowed to decide whether or not to keep the scars he will surely get.

At the moment Chase keeps his straight medium blonde hair just as long as his training officer will allow him to, which is just long enough to brush the tips of his ears and give him a slight fringe. As soon as he's given the choice Chase wants to grow it out long enough to cover his eyebrows and maybe even longer. Whether or not this is pure rebellion or true desire to alter his appearance remains to be seen. On his wrists Chase wears two black wristbands, the left one a true wristband, the right one a tracker. Seeing as he's in training still, it's important to keep note of where he is. If he chooses to take it off he chooses to commit a crime against the government and face the punishment Naomi Johnson declares. Chase's field outfit, when he's not trying to blend in, is a tight black shirt with a slight turtleneck and short sleeves, loose dark charcoal grey cargo pants held up by a belt, combat boots, and black fingerless gloves. All of this is finished with an arsenal of readily available weapons such as guns, grenades, and knives. Hidden in the right shoulder of his shirt is a tiny flap that he can rip off with his teeth. It conceals a cyanide pill that, if Chase is ever captured for interrogation, he is to take. The True Borns don't know about this addition to the T.B.R.A. uniform yet, so they can't take it away.

Chase's casual clothing is far less impressive and intimidating. He wears unremarkable tees, jeans, and sneakers with the occasional jacket if it gets cold, but living in Sunyshore, that doesn't happen often. The Magna Ball that belongs to Kamikaze stays on a silver chain around his neck, along with the identification tags that T.B.R.A. receive. Most of the time the chain is hidden under his shirt, more to keep it out of the way than to be incognito. The Magna Ball is almost always empty as Kami walks next to Chase.

Personality: Chase is a friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic individual. He addresses any task given to him with excited attentiveness and tries to finish it as quickly and perfectly as possible. He loves a challenge, and will always try to find ways to push his own limits. These traits were genetically ingrained in him, as his purpose was to be a T.B.R.A. before he ever existed. In many ways Chase is much like a well trained working dog; he'll do whatever is asked of him without question as perfectly as he can just to please the person who asked. He's also very food oriented. He eats like ten starving children and will never turn down food.

More than anything, Chase wants to help the Synthetics gain complete control of the world. He's heard the dark tales of atrocities his predecessors suffered and has even worked with individuals who had personal stories to tell him. Never having been through it himself he can't possibly understand, but he certainly thinks all True Borns deserve to be dead. He hasn't ever been introduced to the possibility that there had been True Borns who would protest the way Synthetics were treated and thus has no idea that they're not all bloodthirsty monsters.

Chase is a ladies' man socially speaking. He loves the pretty girls, and he loves how they seem to be attracted to his status as T.B.R.A. in training. He uses it to his advantage and often plays that card to get some young idealistic little Synthetic girl into bed. He knows this is wrong and has been reprimanded once word got to his training officer, but he isn't even thinking of slowing down. His officer wouldn't have cared so much if Chase didn't already have a steady girlfriend. He's air headed, a little arrogant, and thinks he's invincible just because he has a badge.

History: Chase Hess was created from the genetics of several True Born police officers and athletes, harnessing their enthusiasm, athleticism, tenacity, and problem solving capabilities. When he awoke he was given the surname Hess, after the leading scientist on the project. After the required tests were run Chase was sent out into the world with high expectations and a bright future. Almost immediately he began training to become a T.B.R.A., since he had been created simply for that purpose. He was among many others who were meant to lead important investigations, espionage projects, and overall sieges on True Born strongholds. More were being discovered all the time, but the government kept quiet, not wanting to alarm the public or let the True Borns know they were aware of them. As a result not even the officers who will eventually lead the fights truly know about how many strongholds there are, or how great their numbers are. That way if they are captured and tortured they will have nothing to tell.

The athleticism and enthusiasm was immediate evident in Chase. He worked as hard as he could, always trying to be the best of everything and become better than he thought possible. He didn't always excel, and although that frustrated him he channeled that frustration into improvement. The level he had the most trouble on was logical reasoning, as one would figure. Since then he's improved slightly but he's still far more physical than mental in his assaults. Once Chase had adequately impressed his superiors he was allowed to go to the Biodome in Sunyshore and capture himself a Pokemon. When he came across the shifty eyed Marowak he just couldn't back away. After a scuffle he captured him, and slowly but surely convinced the Marowak that he was a friend and he wouldn't hurt him. Once he was satisfied that the Marowak trusted him enough he kept him out of his ball most of the time. He named him Kamikaze and began training with him, wanting to be an expert at working with his Pokemon. Although it was a bit of a challenge for him to get a being with his own mind to cooperate with him Chase finally managed and while he and Kami aren't an inseparable team yet, it can be seen in the future.

Now Chase awaits orders so that he can find out what his first mission is. It's supposed to begin soon, but he hasn't been given any details on it yet. If he proves himself here he'll be able to be part of a really important endeavor coming up, one that hardly anyone has even been told about yet. Needless to say, he's incredibly excited and intends to do his very best so that he can go on this mission.

    Pokemon:
    -Name: Kamikaze, nicknamed Kami
    -Gender: Male
    -Species: Marowak
-Appearance: Kami is taller than the average Marowak, at four feet tall. On his head is a sleek, pointed skull, somewhat reptilian in appearance. Dark eyes peer out through holes on either side, suspicious and calculating of everything and everyone. His body is dusty brown and scaly, with a light tan underbelly. His tail is muscular, with a small horn on the top near the tip. Never will Kami be found without a large bone in his hand, shaped somewhat like a human tibia but smaller.
-Personality: True to his species, Kami is highly antisocial. He was left in the Biodome for eight months as a Cubone, and some bad experiences with the other Pokemon taught him not to trust anyone. Even when captured by Chase, he didn't lose that trait. He has grown close to his master, respects him, and even likes him. But sometimes in particularly pressuring situations he panics and he reacts irrationally and against Chase's orders, earning him the name Kamikaze. Only now that he's managed to suppress this trait a bit is his master even being considered for field work.
-History: Kami was created in a laboratory from the DNA of a murdered True Born's Cubone. That Cubone had been close to evolving, so when he was placed into the Biodome he evolved simply from the experience he gained by socializing and finding his own means of survival. Chase captured him with plenty of difficulty. The effort Chase put forth causes Kami to respect Chase and obey him, and even like him a little, though the true trust and companionship in their partnership has yet to come.
-Moveset: Bonemerang, Thrash, Endeavor, False Swipe, Leer

    -Name: Rokan
    -Gender: Female
    -Species: Vulpix
-Appearance: Rokan's ears never stand straight up in perfect symmetry, as most Vulpix's do. You may even call her lop eared, for her right ear remains down. She has some control over it, and if she tries she can lift it almost as high as the left, but it takes effort. This provides a slight disadvantage for her, because the right ear doesn't receive sound as well as it should. Her large brown eyes always seem to be full of life, though she's not the most energetic creature. Seeing as she's not anywhere near ready to evolve, her tail hasn't split into six gorgeous mahogany tails yet. She's at just three. The two outside tails are almost the hue they'll end at. The one in the middle, however, is just turning orange. White streaks remain in the long silky fur. Her stockings are slightly longer than most Vulpix's, ending just below her knees. They're a much darker brown than her body, like dark chocolate.
-Personality: Rokan isn't the most energetic creature. She enjoys lying in the sun on mild days, feeling the warmth on her fur. She doesn't get along well with other Vulpix, preferring the company of other species. When properly motivated, she can get a task finished at an almost frightening pace. She has the capability to be the nurturing type, often mothering the young, or those that she feels a special attachment towards. She doesn't exactly like cubs, and hopes never to have any of her own, but every now and then she'll find one she likes. In most cases she's easy to get along with, as long as you're not on the opposite side as she is. While she's loyal to friends until death, she treats enemies exactly inversely. She's more than willing to fight to the death. Her appearance as an orange fluffy fox-like creature misleads her opponents into believing she'll be easy to dispose of. That misconception is often enough to put Rokan at an advantage. She would do absolutely anything for most sodas and if deprived will become peevish.
-History: Rokan originally belonged to Mina, Chase's girlfriend. She was cloned from Mina's contest Ninetales pair. Originally she was supposed to be a contest Pokemon as well, but her imperfect ear disqualified her. Mina then decided to keep her as a battler and try training Pokemon for that purpose. Although Rokan did well and obviously loves it, Mina didn't have the heart to be anything but a contest coordinator, so she gave Rokan to Chase as a present for finishing his training. He was reluctant to accept her at first, thinking he was suited for much more manly Pokemon. But Rokan's personality is what made her a good match for him. She has only been with him for a few weeks so she doesn't really care all that much for him yet.
