I just noticed something. The Clefairy line has been completely retconed to be Fairy-only type, but apparently GameFreak forgot about Cleffa. It can't learn ANY Fairy-type moves at all. How rebellious!

Also, why isn't Metronome a Fairy-type move now? All Pokémon that can learn it have been retconned to Fairy-only type, (in the case of Togetic and Togekiss, they're Fairy/Flying). GameFreak didn't bother to change Metronome's type; it should be a Fairy-type.

You're wrong about Metronome. Munchlax and Mew can both learn Metronome, along with Chansey being able to have the move bred into it. And that's completely ignoring every Pokemon that could be taught the move via Gen III move tutors.
Also, changing Metronome into a Fairy type wouldn't make much sense anyway, considering that it just selects a random attack to use anyway.

As for Cleffa, it can in fact have 3 different Fairy moves. Sweet Kiss, Misty Terrain and Charm. But I can see that not having any offensive Fairy moves is a bit odd. It should at least learn Draining Kiss or Fairy Wind.

A lot of Pokemon learn Metronome by ways of breeding or move tutoring. As for Metronome's typing changing, I don't see why. Normal makes so much more sense, seeing as 1. the Normal type is known for its use of multiple moves/types, and 2. the Normal type is given to moves that don't have a specific typing to go under. I personally think Metronome would work better if it was to be given Psychic typing, seeing how the random chance ability can be seen as a psychic ability.
